“home , i guess ; or as close as i have to one .”  there wasn’t really any point hiding it anymore , soon enough there wouldn’t be any evidence of his childhood , no wayward files on his past life , nor any remains of the hundreds of android sparring partners he was forced to fight as a child .  as she opened up the enterance for him , he didn’t feel how he expected to at this moment .  no bubbling disdain for what he had to endure within these walls , not even a hint of anger .  kneeling down to meet her gaze , he handed her back her things as he explained , his finger tracing the scar marking his face: “wouldn’t say it was a very good one though .”

the pop of his joint slotting back into place shot a sharp pain throughout his body; halting his wisecracks in their tracks .  it’s intense pang almost instantly transitioned into a dull discomfort , the throb of his heart pulsating the quick shots of pain down his arm constantly .  “a-ah , so you are” he replied , instantly humbled .  “you like in some kind of first aid club or somethin’ ?”

“hmm ...  name’s sho minazuki , but you can call me sho-npai !”  he cackled , twirling his blades with a taunting flourish .  the kid certainly wasn’t as strong as he’d expect him to be , the size of the shadows in this place , from what he’d seen , were nothing to scoff at .  the corrupted visage of the tokyo subway system as a whole was odd , familiar to his experience with the tv world , yet entirely different ; even the shadows themselves seemed more defined then those he’d ‘controlled’ in the past .  “as for that info , that’s classified son .  you’d have to beat it out of me , but just lookin’ at you , i’d say you wouldn’t stand a chance !”

“only thing bad about it is i didn’t return until now .”  if he’d spent more time focusing on the people who had actually hurt him , rather than those who inherited his wrath , perhaps he would have been able to take down these labs earlier .  a sigh of relief escaped his lips , less work for him ; leaving the destruction of the operation his sole priority .  “alright good work kid , that’s good ...  now just open up the doors .”
