* After accidentally finding himself in yet another warp pipe, Mario lands off into the colorful world of Mobius. And I thought the Mushroom World was weird enough, thought the plumber. This place looks like it came straight outta one of those abstract paintings from the Brooklyn Museum! *

* He ended up finding himself in the middle of nowhere, probably with other confused individuals as well. But all of that changed as soon as a speeding blur came passing through him, but came back before he could even close his eyes to blink! What stood before him confused him more than the world around him, a creature covered in blue and with a spiky hairdo. Thankfully, the creature that spoke knew perfect English, so the Italian decided to talk to him. *

Err, sorry, paisano, but I'm not really a fan of yours. At that, I hardly know you at all! But, hey, that doesn't mean I don't wanna get to know you, since that warp pipe I used to get here probably vamoosed the moment I came outta it, so I'm stuck here for a while.

* In the home of the Mario Brothers, there was not much of a sound to be heard. It was supposedly another day, and he couldn't be bothered to do much of anything. He was a working plumber, and super plumbers need some super rest. But Mario jumped up, as something came to his head. Something important was today. He dashed over to the calendar in his room and grabbed it without haste. Today was July 15th, his date of birth. Today, he turns 29 years old. *

...Guess I'm gettin' older after all!

* He laughed to himself, setting his calendar back on the wall. He heads out to the kitchen and takes out a plate of pasta for his birthday, setting a few birthday candles aflame with the nearest fire flower and sits down on his favorite chair to enjoy them, but before he could enjoy his scrumptious birthday pasta, he puts on a little party hat for the occasion and blows the candle flames away, celebrating another birthday.*

* He sighed, thinking about all these years having to deal with that maniac King Koopa and his crew, with their mishaps and mayhem galore. Someday that tyrant'll have to stop. But for now, he decided to keep the focus away on Koopa, and put it towards his new friend. *
