In this scenario: the Hero of Men, after the War of the Bound Chest, has been assigned to protect Hyrule's most precious. The Dark Mirror is among these precious things. Initially thought to be a regular ornate mirror, it catches the Hero's attention. An uncanny reflection is met. Smitten, they become friends and are inseparable.

**Something to note: before the "Picori" are recognized by the Royal Family, the Hero of Men's judgement is cast in extreme doubt. Often appearing to talk to oneself with imaginary friends, there is a schizophrenic stigma attached to the Hero. Along with "unruly" behavior and rumor of being King Gustaf's bastard child... The assigned task was purposefully chosen to isolate the Hero. For this, the Hero can be very lonely...
