I NEED people to talk about that scene with Bron in chapter 5.
"When Bron eats, we all eat."
I didn't think much of DogDay being cannibalized, but Bron... He didn't talk, he just sat there and he hums. He doesn't seem to acknowledge that the outimals are litterally EATING HIM ALIVE.
DogDay screams, and begs us to run.
And that's sad, of course, because DogDay was created from a helpless child who couldn't do anything to stop what was happening to them.
But Bron is is the exact opposite. He makes no movement, partially because he is chained down essentially, but he probably isn't that different mentally from Pianosaurus or Yarnaby, unlike DogDay.
They're animal like mentally. And I think Bron is the same way, while DogDay was still human like.
I think that's what makes the Bron scene so fucking creepy
