She finds out she loves to build lego, whether she’s small regressed or teenage regressed, she likes to feel like she’s doing something productive and following the instructions to have a finished product on no time constraint is really fun. Clark has different types of Lego for her that’s good for no matter what age she regresses, even though when she’s small she likes to try and do the harder ones.

Lex only has one stuffed toy, his mother got it for him when he was very, very young and he put it away when he was about 10 or 11 and only touches it when he’s small. It’s a black dog with plastic eyes and has a little red collar around its neck. It was fluffy before but it’s gotten to where the fur is all pressed down from baby Lex holding it and crying with it so much. It was completely his clutch after the meteorite incident, but Lionel stopped letting him use it to get him to “grow up” when he started middle school. He wouldn’t ever let anyone know he still has it and he puts it right back in its box when he’s not regressed anymore. It doesn’t have a name, it’s just “doggy”.
Lois didn’t have any stuffed animals growing up, she had to move a lot due to where General Lane was stationed, so he made sure she kept her possessions light to make it easier (she did get Lucy stuffed animals though). But Clark buys her a beige jellycat bunny at some point, before she ever thought she actually regressed, he just saw it in a shop and thought Lois would like it, and she was absolutely over the moon about it. That’s her favourite, whether she’s regressed or not, but she won’t let go of it when she’s child regressed. When she’s teen regressed, she finds it “cringey”, but still likes to make sure it’s near. She named it “Clarkie” as a joke but it stuck.
Growing up, Clark had so many stuffed animals, especially of farm animals, and he never would’ve chosen a favourite and when he moved to Metropolis, he had to take five of his favourites which was very difficult. He took with him a cow, a cat, a hen, a sheep and a horse. When he’s regressed, Lois tends to just hand him the one that’s closest and he’s not very picky, but his absolute favourite is his cow. He also has a tendency to bite them to get sensory input and then get really upset if he bites them too hard or they get too wet. His cow is called “moo” which sometimes is just Clark making a moo sound.

i always have thoughts (primarily based off superman 2025 supergirl, trailer for 2026 supergirl and fics I’ve read lol) (read however you want, I will watch CW supergirl soon)
• Exclusively a regressor, but she will insist she looks after regressed Clark as a caregiver when she’s small too because that’s her little cousin and she feel so obligated to take care of him
• She’s a menace. Just an absolute menace when she’s toddler regressed specifically, she gets into everything, puts everything in her mouth, will not stop talking
• Primarily regresses to toddler, oldest is typically about 5 or 6, she doesn’t regress older than that. Lois caregivers for her as well as Clark because she won’t let Clark look after her even if he’s not regressed because she insists that she’s his big cousin and will do things for him
• Ice cream for dinner and she doesn’t ask. Lois and Clark will find her half a tub down and they ask her what she’s doing and she just smiles “ :) dinner time”
• Really likes imaginary play with stuffed animals and animal figures, she’ll make Clark and Lois act out whatever scenarios she wants with her
• Both voluntary and involuntary regression, it’s typically involuntary due to overwhelm or just seeing Clark small, but she does it voluntarily for fun or due to stress sometimes too

small lois, on a rare time she actually wants to interact with clark properly and have him caregive, still trying to call him "smallville" but it's not coming out right and it's increasingly frustrated attempts at getting her words out.
very sassy little a lot of the time, regresses primarily to get back how she couldn't be as a child and it means she argues with clark a lot because she can and she won't be told off about it.
he's so easy going with her, even more easy going than she is with him. he just finds her adorable, but he also knows to meet her where she's at and just let her have her feelings, not necessarily keep her completely happy because that won't work.
clark, has on occasion, made her voluntarily regress after a terrible day at work. she fought against it so hard and then within half an hour, she was tiny and fast asleep against him.

do i!!!! (this is going to be primarily smallville lex because i feel as though he has the most regression potential, but feel free to read it however) (i also realise most of these are relatively sad hcs, lex is pretty much exclusively a trauma regressor to me i'm afraid)
He either regresses to a child (5-8) or a pre/young teen (11-14), he doesn't ever baby regress because the idea of being even less aware than he is as a child is terrifying to him. He exclusively involuntarily regresses and it's not a pleasant experience 99% of the time.
Mostly regresses due to interactions with his father. Sometimes he'll feel himself slipping talking to Lionel and he just has to let it happen because he knows he was "better" when he was younger because he wouldn't talk back as much. Lex hates those interactions when he stops regressing.
Hasn't ever slipped in front of anybody and they have known, the idea of having a caregiver freaks him out so much. He's only been mistreated by adults when he was a child, so subconsciously he has the fear it will happen again if he's vulnerable and small.
Has no regression gear at all with the exception of a childhood stuffed animal he managed to keep his whole life that he only gravitates towards when he's 5-8. Just curls up with it and cries as quietly as he possibly can.
He does actively try to keep working when he's small because he doesn't want to be seen as being lazy or unproductive, but the words don't make sense and he gets so frustrated by it. Has thrown his computer in a regressed fit of rage and then panicked really really hard when he realised it was broken (when he stopped regressing, it was just Fine. He bought another. But baby Lex couldn't wrap his head around it).
If he's pre/young teen regressed, he sometimes sits and plays the piano for hours. It's distracting and makes him feel productive enough and not guilty that he can't sit and do his work.
Will try extremely hard to fight the regression off for as long as possible but it just makes him feel fuzzy and dissociated all day if he doesn't let it happen, which typically just makes the regression feel worse.
I need to add something happy here sorry uhh he's a big fan of hot chocolate with all the toppings when he's small and will do his best to make it himself. It's warm and comforting and sweet and doesn't remind him of being a child at all, which is great for him.
