12-Volt and 5-Volt were friends back in their young adult years, bonding quite a bit over mutual interests in music and going dumpster diving on thursdays. They have grown apart as they formed their own families, but still miss eachother and think it'd be cool if they met again someday soon (chances are fortunately high for them since their own respective kids have a much closer bond with eachother than they ever had).

Susan's been a top performer in school and college during her youth at the cost of truly long-lasting social bonds, with the couple friends she made not lasting a lot and inevitably growing apart as she graduated from school and college. 12-Volt coming into Susan's life allowed her to get her first taste of enjoying the small things in life; and while nowadays the family isn't economically stable enough for Susan to kick it back as much as she wishes, she at least started taking days off of work during sundays and holidays! Baby steps.

12-Volt, while being a massively charismatic and chill guy everyone loved to hang out with, has been a massive slacker ever since his youth. He loved rap music, but it's not like that turned out particularly fruitful for him the way he was approaching it. Meeting Susan and admiring her dedication to contributing something to the world gave him a push towards giving a purpose to doing what he loves most, which he channeled into a rap song for her (both of the two agree nowadays that the song lowkey aged like ass in retrospect, LOL, but Susan treasures it to this day purely for its intent as the first ever thing someone dedicated to her). Nowadays, while still pretty slow-paced in his work, 12-Volt turned that rapping hobby into a career as he fights to make it to the top charts where singers like Sal Out, Bridget the Baker and Vanessa reside.

Susan, in spite of her hellishly busy life, always had a hidden passion for gardening that she dedicated her little free time to and continues to do so to this day. She ended up sharing this interest with 18-Volt, thus later encouraging him to start his own vegetable garden and letting him know everything about keeping it in order. Plus, it allows them to make some good meals out of said veggies!

13-Amp is one of 12-Volt's very few diehard fans. Every now and then she either challenges him to rap battles or asks him for feedback on her lyrics. Something about 12-Volt's humble and underrated status in Diamond City's music industry compared to many other highly popular stars in it inspires her in a meaningful way.

Susan's never been a fan of wearing excessively feminine clothing. Wearing high heels is as far as she can go in that regard.

12-Volt proposed to Susan with a matching COOL ring similar to the one he's wearing. Susan's unfortunately not allowed to wear hers during her work shifts, but she makes sure to wear it literally everywhere else. 12-Volt even gave 18-Volt a ring similar to that one for himself and vowed to hand him another one for him to propose to his future loved one with when the time comes.

Susan was the first one to notice 18-Volt had a thing for putting discs on his hair since he was 3. Surprisingly enough, she had no problem with this; which leads to now where 18-Volt went as far as to wear different CDs each day.

Larry uses more colloquial dialogue, and often uses "like" in his sentences. He's more uncertain with his words, using 'uh' and 'um' in heavy contrast to Ludwig. He'll use larger words incorrectly, having heard them from his older siblings without fully understanding how to use them properly. He's more aware of slang than his siblings, and will frequently use nicknames. Being the youngest, he can usually get away with being louder than his siblings, less afraid of standing up to Bowser and Junior if the need arises.

Iggy will laugh and joke, deflecting emotional honesty on his own part, but being brutally honest with others. He'll ramble and talk sporadically, interrupting his own sentences and using analogies that don't always make sense. He's aware enough to weave through a conversation to get his way, and if he says something that seems inconsiderate or inflammatory, it's usually on purpose to get a reaction: a reaction he will usually find amusing. He's observant and analytical, able to note down people's tendencies in his head even if he plays dumb and pretends not to notice. He usually only drops his manic tone and demeanor with Lemmy, and even then, humor remains his primary communication method.

Ludwig will avoid contractions, swearing, informal speech, and interruptions like 'uh' or 'um'. His answers may seem confident, yet rehearsed, as he likes to plan his words before he says them. When caught off guard with something he doesn't have an answer to, he will stutter a moment and then reroute to regain control of the situation. Whereas Iggy will purposefully be brash in order to get a reaction, Ludwig is used to mincing his words (with certain people, usually Bowser) in order to avoid unnecessary conflict. He can, however, be brutally honest, especially to his siblings. Though he sees it as his attempt to help, it's often counterproductive. His professional exterior rarely reveals genuine emotion underneath, but when it does, it's usually with Larry.

Morton uses "caveman speech": dropping definite and indefinite articles, improper use of phrases ('on accident' instead of 'by accident'), lack of participles, and using proper nouns rather than pronouns. He will often be obliviously honest, asking things everyone else is avoiding. He used to be much more verbose in his younger years, babbling and rambling, but negative reinforcement from his parents combined with unaddressed disability symptoms led to his more simplistic speech. The closest real-life equivalent is a receptive-expressive language disorder, where he can understand most basic ideas in communication with others, but misunderstands figures of speech and has difficulty communicating his own ideas. Yeah he's autistic.

Roy will speak more casually, giving brief, one-word answers, and shortening verbs (Ex. "goin'" instead of "going", "yah" instead of "you"). His flat tone can often make him seem uninterested in whatever is being discussed, even if it interests him. Though he's often taciturn in day-to-day life, preferring to think about his words before he says them, his temper can get the best of him and lead him to being much more blunt. High stress and emotions will often break down his filter, which results in fiery bursts of brutally honest and hurtful exchanges. This doesn't pair well with him being allergic to genuinely apologizing. Any emotion other than anger is often deflected or avoided, and his actions and subtext will reveal his intentions more than his actual words.

Lemmy's more hyperactive and playful nature extends to his speech, often dragging out certain words for dramatic effect. His words often have a mischievous connotation, using a sing-songy tone and moving around as he speaks, unable to sit still. He and Larry use nicknames most often. While Iggy can cleverly manipulate a conversation in order to elicit a reaction, Lemmy does it to get his way; he's charismatic, able to convince people of almost anything even when they hate to admit it. The terms he uses can often be childish (Ex. pinkie promise), disguising that he's actually one of the more observant and honest Koopalings. In the rare moments he isn't speaking to get to an end or to entertain, he can be shockingly well-spoken—though he's more preoccupied with helping others fix their issues rather than acknowledging his own.

I was just semi-complaining that I was still looking for a decent way to backup my +6k posts without having to use paid services or even just wordpress (which has an import from tumblr tool that asks for permission to access your blog and also make posts), when I decided to actually put some effort into my google search. 

Results were positive: I have successfully backed up my blog* 

*By which I mean: everything that I have ever posted.  Not included: drafts, queue, likes, followers, following, comments, notes, chat. 

I followed this method (word by word), and now have a 450 MB folder on my computer with the name of my blog on it containing: 

1. Folder “Archive” (contains .html files listed by month) 2. Folder “Media” (contains gifs and images, mine has +1k files in it; might contain also audios but I have no way of confirming that because I’ve never reblogged an audio post from this blog) 3. Folder “Posts” (contains single .html files, each one a post; I have +4k files in it) 4. Folder “Theme” (contains only my avatar, but it might be a matter of if you have personalized themes or not) 5. .html file “Index” (by opening it it will give you the archive of your blog organized by month; clicking on a month will open up the archive for that month, and you’ll be able to read all the posts for that month as if you were on your blog**, except sans your theme graphic, with each page containing 50 posts)

**I can see gifs, links, embedded videos, tags, number of notes (but I can’t open up the notes, clearly), text is also correctly formatted. 

So yeah, in case anyone wants a very quick way to back up their blog, it took me less than 10 minutes. 

Backing Up a Big Tumblr Art Blog - For Mac Users

Make the below changes to the Windows instructions already posted above. DO NOT JUST DO THE BELOW STEPS ALONE!

STEP 0: For any of this to work, your blog must be visible outside Tumblr

0.1 Account –> Your Blog –> Edit appearance

0.2 Under “Visibility,” be sure “Hide blogname.tumblr.com” is OFF

0.3 If the “Password” section exists, make sure “Password protect this blog” is OFF

STEP 1:

1.4. Download the file called “Mac OS X 64-bit/32-bit installer”

1.5. Install by double-clicking on the downloaded .pkg file and following the prompts. You’ll need to enter your password. You may need to change System Preferences –> Security & Privacy to allow the install.

STEP 2:

2.1 Download the “tumblr-utils.zip” file.

2.2 Downloading the file should automatically unzip it into a folder called “bbolli-tumblr-utils-30e140a” in your “Downloads” folder.

STEP 3: SKIP ALL PARTS OF THIS ENTIRE STEP

STEP 4:

4.2. Hit Command-Space and start typing the word terminal. Finder should find the Terminal application. Double-click it to run. The terminal window should open up.

4.4 (Windows only, skip.)

4.5 type cd ~/Downloads and hit return.

4.6 type cd bbolli and hit tab. Terminal should auto-complete to the entire name of the folder you downloaded in step 2 (“bbolli-tumblr-utils-30e140a”). Hit enter and you should be in that directory.

STEP 5:

5.2 type ./tumblr_backup.py yourtumblrname and watch the script do its thing.

also for step 2.2 if it doesn’t automatically unzip, just double-click it and it should unzip into the same location.  The precise file name might also be different toward the end.
