- intrusive thoughts won’t affect your magic or draw bad things into your life because there’s no intent behind them

- your deities are smart enough to know that you don’t mean your intrusive thoughts and to therefore not act on them or be offended by them

If you find yourself dissociating for any reason, find a textured object, feel it, and describe it to yourself or someone else like you’re the first person to ever touch it. You could stand on carpet or grass barefoot or hold something cold to your skin. If you have a pet, try to notice all the small details or marking on their face and feel the texture of their coat/scales/feathers. Really focus on describing the small details of how it feels, and breathe.

Doing this grounds you. It changes your thought process and brings you out of the dissociative state. Make sure the feeling is not painful or uncomfortable, and breathe deeply through your stomach while doing this. When we’re stressed or anxious we tend to hold our breath. Focusing on breathing and how it feels to breathe will also help bring you out of it.

My therapist says dissociation is a normal reaction to trauma. Our brain gets overloaded with emotion and, aided with low oxygen levels from holding our breath, our consciousness withdraws. Normal, however, does not mean good, and being present and grounded is important for recovery.

I’d recommend perhaps making a spell jar. Some good ingredients for it could be:

Green salt (you can make this)Rosemary, cedar wood, pine, fir, spruceMintLemon? FluoriteClear quarts pointsA sigil for productivity or a clean houseThings that are green or light blue

Basically just pick a few things that you associate with energy, productivity, cleanliness, homeliness - stick in a jar, add an intent, add something to charge it. Leave it somewhere where you can see it and recharge periodically.

Failing that, you could always leave out a thimble of honey by an open window and see if a brownie takes pity on you.

Like, for example, if the age of consent is 13, it means kids who are 13-14-15 can have sex without it being considered a crime; but a kid who is 12 CANNOT manifest that consent and this another (older or younger) kid making sexual advances on them would be considered cocsa.

Adults can only legally have sex with kids if, for example, the adult is still a teen, aka if the adult just turned 18 and they’re having sex with a 17 yo. That’s widely considered admissible and it’s an exception to the rule.

So, no, you 20-something and older creeps fetishizing 13-14-15 yo girls (real or fictional) are still pedophiles, and you’re trying to use a legal argument that you:

1. do not know about because you just read a fucking wikipedia article and did not take years of classes about criminal law

2. twist for it to fit and excuse your awful behavior

John Balcerzak and Joseph Gabrish were the two police officers who returned 14-year-old Konerak Sinthasomphone to Jeffrey Dahmer after they found him stumbling down the road, bleeding from the anus and from a hole in his head that Dahmer had drilled. He had been drugged and raped by Jeffrey Dahmer yet managed to escape. The officers were fired after their actions were publicised, including  an audiotape of the officers making homophobic comments to their dispatcher and laughing and joking about having reunited the “lovers”. In reality, they had just returned a teenage boy to the man who would, in moments later, kill him. As soon as Sinthasomphone was back in the apartment, Dahmer murdered him.

A lot of spells call for singular herbs like basil or cinnamon, but seasoning blends often get overlooked! Especially because these blends tend to be easier and more affordable in the kitchen. Let’s break a few down.

Pumpkin Spice- (Allspice, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg.) MONEY MONEY MONEY and also luck.

Five Spice Powder-  (Cinnamon, cloves, fennel, star anise, pepper.) Protection, banishing/exorcism, probably especially so for things related to psychic powers and abilities.

Italian Seasoning- (Thyme, oregano, garlic, basil, marjoram, rosemary, savory, sage) Cleansing, purifying, and consecrating spaces, protection. Combined, this probably makes it great for warding.

Creole Seasoning- (Paprika, garlic, onion, pepper, cayenne, thyme, oregano.) Hella banishing power, with a kick. May also help start patching up any spiritual wounds, afterwards. But mostly banishing.

Tajin- (Chili peppers, salt, lime) Cleansing! Burn out/erode all that gunk.
