In fact Noa's mood threw him off. It stopped him dead in his tracks and recoiling backwards. Unable to recall a time when he seen her so angry.

"Noa! When did you get back?" Anakin's stotic expression simpered into what he hoped was a friendly smile.

"How did it go?"

"It was a success," she started, her tone giving an obvious hint of 'you would've known if you'd been there for me', "but... it wasn't without loss."

There was clearly a lot she wasn't telling him, but also Noa was wondering if Anakin actually cared. The fact that he was so surprised she was even back hadn't been lost on her.

⸻ ⛧ 𝘛𝘏𝘐𝘚 𝘞𝘈𝘚, 𝘉𝘠 𝘍𝘈𝘙, 𝘛𝘏𝘌 most risky of missions that has been attempted in what Casimir would assume to be decades or even centuries. It was something him & his team had been preparing for the last few weeks after intel suggested that the Jedi recently uncovered an old Sith temple that may or may not have had ancient material regarding the Nythran's very particular section of the galaxy. Documents were falsified, a Jedi robe was stolen, even a lightsaber had been made ( that Casimir just might keep for the sake of it being a relatively fun weapon to have used & practiced with since its recent creation ) & now the plan was in motion. He's been in the Jedi's temple for only a day & he has almost forgotten what it is like to among so many blessed with the Inheritance to have to mask his intentions with intensive shields.

& as he was debating whether to return to the mess hall & ask for an entire a carafe of caf to take with him to the archives ( because he is not sure if he would be allowed caf in such a place & if it would be out of place for him to even ask ) he is approached in his consideration. This was not the first time someone has verbalized their unfamiliarity with him seeming to be a Jedi Knight but had an unrecognizable face. Looking to the young woman, he offers a sheepish grin, ❝ No, I am not lost. ❞

He was appropriately dressed as a Jedi, of course, lightsaber at his hip & all. Though, the accent is not perfected. It is clipped with rounded vowels & slightly sharp around certain constants. The specifics of origins wouldn't be placed, though it could be easily suggested as Outer Rim. Even if most Jedi were raised in the Temple, it was not impossible for some to hold onto accents & so Casimir was counting on it. ❝ I just can't remember if we're allowed to drink caf in the archives. It's been some time since I've been back here and yet I have forgotten a rule already. ❞
