馬堀駅で撮る嵯峨野山陰線の223系-5500代。

223系のスタイリッシュな顔立ちそのままに貫通路を設けたので人気が高い車両。

嵯峨野山陰線からは113系は撤退し、いまは221系が主力として活躍しています。しかし、ラッシュ帯には福知山エリアで活躍している223系-5500代が京都口まで顔を見せます。

ちなみに山陰本線のこの区間は二条や嵐山、保津峡、亀岡と、電車でGOでもお馴染みの区間であります。
