A friend in my discord server mentioned to me that they were listening to Sonata Arctica, and I spent the night just jamming to their music. It had been many months since I listened to their music. During the month of August I felt mostly depressed. I didn't feel like drawing or playing games. I didn't feel like doing anything. But  I felt happy when I was drawing this and wanted to continue drawing it. The song I based this off of was "White Pearls, Black Oceans" Its a song I've really loved for a long time now. I tried drawing something to match the song years and years ago. But I was to inexperienced to do it at that time.Luckily that phase has gone away. It only lasted for a month, which is still substantial time. But I don't feel like doing nothing anymore. I've been spending a lot of time drawing lately. And im trying to work on more projects! Tried to draw something more calm and peaceful.

I've pretty much only worked on this for the past 3 days! But its finished! This new way I've been painting feels 100000x faster and neater than how I use to do it. I started this after the Royal Edition for FFXV came out. And finally finished it after months of procrastination. I spent the last week working on a non-art related project, so now I'm back to drawing! My friend got me to watch Violet Evergarden, and that anime hurt me so much. Its so beautiful. Every part of it is just perfections. The animation, the music, the expressions, the mood, its all just perfect. I don't think I've ever cried to much watching an anime since CLANNAD. So now, I want to create a beautiful piece! I'm not quite sure of the composition of this one right now. I might change it, or the colours to be a more mid day scene, but I'm going to work on that a little bit later.

I started this last year when Episode Ignis came out. I got super excited, I loved the episode and found a new appreciation for Ignis. Sadly I thought of a better composition for this, and fell out of love with it after a few days.
