Bonney absolutely hated when she had to admit she fucked up. It just ruined her entire mood but the situation called for it. It made her feel so embarrassed, she even made sure to not make anymore mistakes like this.

Honestly just what kind of a death wish did this Supernova have? “So... while you assure me it’s not possible, there is every possibility that Jesus Burgess... could have followed you?” While she could fully handle Jesus Burgess herself, as could her shipwright, the fact remained that killing Burgess, would bring Blackbeard down upon her crew. 

They could not handle Blackbeard, they were a crew primarily composed of devil fruit users, powerful devil fruit users, dangerous devil fruit users, should he get his grubby hands on those powers... on her devil fruit...

                SELFIE.

      Estrange place. Luffy liked that, there was always a story and skills behind those, but most importantly, it meant adventure and exploration to him.

      The green haired’s voice got him out of his observation hearing his name, holding a tremble of excitation.

            “Aren’t they?" He asked surprised as he lifted his head towards the sky a frown on his features. It was true, they weren’t moving like they should as if they were painted on a wall or a ceiling. Thus, there was no wind either, to think about it there was hardly any sound, maybe they we’re inside a whale or some sort. Luffy remembered that Laboon had this weird kind of set inside of him. A shiver of excitement ran down all over the straw hat’s body, a grin stretching on his lips. 

But then that could be her. Her own insecurities. She was safe with him, he'd proven countless times, to countless people, that he was a pirate that could be depended on, that would protect his friends at any cost. 

She was safe.

Even as he dragged her further towards the mountain, further into the chaos that was the surroundings, she was safe. However the closer they got to that mountain, the further they climbed up the steep incline towards the buildings carved into it, the more she noticed as she looked out to where they'd began, the more she noticed it, or rather them.

"Luffy-san" she spoke up, attempting to tug back on her arm to get his attention. "Luffy-san look... do those look familiar to you?" two statues in the distance, rising up above the horizon, high into the clouds, even from the distance, it was easy to see that one seemed to be deteriorating, pieces crumbling, parts broken off, where the other seemed like it were built recently. 

She'd seen that somewhere... in a book maybe... she couldn't remember the book but she KNEW those statues, and it would bug her endlessly until she remembered because they were significant somehow, she knew they were.
