- yes the writing and the characterization were gonna suck, but i at least had hopes for the battle 😃 🔪

- wtf is daemon doing there. like genuinely wtf. get his ass out of there!!!! i cannot believe we only got gwayne being thrown around, two minutes of ormund fighting, and daeron still not riding tessie just for a 30 min exhibition of daemons battle prowess. FUCK OFF HES NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!!!

- second, where do i even begin with the child soldiers? like yes, ormund is evil and kills puppies and steals christmas even tho in the books he’s apparently very merciful and honorable in battle and towards innocents we get it , MOVE ON ALREADY

- next, why would someone as meticulous as ormund lose his trump card within 12 hrs of a battle? he would’ve had him sleeping in the room next to him just to make sure his ass was ready!!

- the scent sensitivity…it was fun when it was to show how bougie he is. it’s not fun as an actual disability preventing him from fighting. also the scent of blood bothers him????? are these writers fucked in the head?? blood is slightly metallic…HIS ENTIRE ARMOR IS METALLIC 🤬🤬🤬 why would that scent bother himmmmm

- then there’s the way he died. i have no words. it’s giving hate crime, rape fetish, overall degenerate behavior from the writers. i mean ig alicent wasn’t in the episode long enough to be SA’ed again so someone else from her family had to be sexually degraded ??

- i hope daeron gets on his dragon and kills everyone next season. and that he and gwayne live happily ever after.

in conclusion, me to the writers:

and yEAH DEATH BY DRAGON FIRE WOULDVE BEEN SUFFICIENT since that would’ve been a proper comeuppance and already alluded to w the flames reflecting off his visage that one scene. all of that just tells me we need to check their fucking hard drives.

and i don’t get how so many who watched it are eating it up as peak cinema. does everyone still have teenage boy humor? his “evil” actions weren’t even well-written enough for you to buy him as a deeply horrifying man who needed to go no matter what. the way ppl are saying “ive been waiting for this all season!! so deserved!!” are we watching the same show?
