Commission for @toatsdakots! Iām so happy with how this turned out. Thank you so much again!! š
Commission Info!
Always be vague. Say I think theyāre in today or not until later. If they press say itās company policy not to give out the schedule. Most companies do have this and even if they donāt how would a stranger know. Donāt give out specifics, they can get people injured or even killed.
At my last job someone came up and asked when āSarahā was working next. I didnāt tell him and then texted her a description, turns out he was an abusive ex who had been stalking her. Donāt do this shit please.
Do NOT say anything along the lines of ātheyāre not in todayā or ānot until laterā because you are confirming that this is somewhere the person in question can be found. NEVER confirm anything!
My old boss told us a story of how, years before when she was a fairly new manager (Iām talking decades, sheās 64 right now), there was a man who came in and asked for an employee by name and said he was her uncle. She told him the employeeās shift started in a coule hours. He waited the entire time for her, and when she came in, he assaulted her and bashed her face into the counter. My boss saw everything. She canāt recall what he said, but he kept screaming until someone threatened to call the police.
She told me that story after a man came in and asked for when an employee, who recently quit, would be coming in. I told him she doesnāt work here anymore and he said to me āOkay, well Iām her dad so if you see her tell her Iāll be across the street at the gas station.ā He left and my boss IMMEDIATELY came out and scolded me for it, then told me that story.
She gave me some advice on what to say or do in that situation:
Donāt just deny knowing anything, deny the person asking. Example, āWhen is ____ coming in?ā āYou canāt know that information.ā or āCan you tell me when ____ās shift is?ā āSchedules are only for employees.ā Additionally, saying āI donāt know what youāre talking about.ā can usually work, it may piss them off but it can work.
Continue on with the customer service. āI canāt help you with that, do you need help (with clothes, finding a product, ordering)?ā or āCan I take your order?/Can I help you find (a product)?ā
If they persist, insist they leave the store. āIf youāre not going to order, please leave the building.ā or āI canāt help you, have a nice day.ā and, if you can, leave. If you canāt leave, call for or help the next customer.
If they still persist (by now they may be aggressive), threaten to call the police on the basis of them becoming aggressive and refusing to leave the premises. Some people will leave at that point, others stay. When the police get there, explain the situation but still do NOT confirm the existence of the employee theyāre looking for to the police until they have been escorted out of the area.
Regardless of if the customer know the employeeās name, description, or daily (not hourly) schedule, even if they look like the same race and claim to be family, you NEVER confirm the employeeās existence.
The only exceptions are if the employee tells you themself theyāre expecting someone to come in for them (ASK FOR A DESCRIPTION OF THE PERSON), and if you personally know who they are in relation to the employee. When anyone I know has to come in because I asked them to come in, I describe what they look like and what they usually wear. I go into deep descriptions, even including how they walk.
You could literally save a life, guys. Donāt blindly trust your gut either and think āBut they LOOK innocentā or āBut they said ______ā because that can result in someone getting severely hurt, or killed.
I know I joked on this post before but seriously
If youre in the US it is against federal law to give out anyones personal information (this includes numbers, names, and schedules) without writen and signed permission.
Just say its against federal law and you cant give out that info without risk of termination - this will get 99% off your back the first time
I hope that girl mentioned in the original post is okay & the person who gave out her info not only gets fired but meet a terrible life teaching fate.
I couldnāt help it, I needed to draw them in the iconic Princess Mononoke scene.Ā
word count: 1k, where basically itachi and sasuko come into the morgue to identify their parentsā bodies bc theyāve been found in fucked up shape. warnings: mention of bodily harm, but done without any visual context or descriptors, meaning the characters know what happens, but they donāt know how it looks.Ā

She was laughing before she could control her own response to him, sterile gloves snapping against her skin as she yanked them off, red dripping onto the street; her knuckles had been split on impact, her body still not used to knocking someoneās head into the floor. Her head lulled down against her chest in a sigh that looked more like she was pleading with him. He was... Naruto. Sasuko refused to meet his gaze, her smile a few muscle movements away from sobbing out and caving under the pain in her chest.Ā

oh shit thatās right i dont have any rules at all oop
If you can remember this you know youāve been a Naruto Fan for far too long š
Sometimes you canāt help to remember your teen years, when adulthood didnāt take away your time and energy for friendship.
That certain evening slowly turning into night was definitely cold, you remember. Everyoneās breath fogging up the air. You remember lots of nuisance and your friends talking over each other, but it was fine. Because back then, you had the ability to understand without words, to understand simply from the atmosphere and feelings alone. It was a memorable night. Maybe not the most outstanding memory of your teen years but, somehow, the memory stayed with you after all these years. And even though you know it had been cold that night, the memory feels warm. It feels like your soul is grasping after youth.
The wish of being young forever. _ Hereās my OT7 piece for @\btsshipzines (make sure to check out their account on twitter for more info)!!! . Inspired in the run era because Iām still not over it š . Special thanks to @\ appelsinusafi for the description!
A guy just came to my house while I was home alone to ask if I was single why are men like this
Okay y'know what Iām gonna soapbox for a hot minute
When I was in high school, a man who Iād thought was the parent of a school friend followed me out to the grocery store parking lot greenhouse where I worked. It was dark, and late, and it was me, alone, in a chain link enclosure with one exit and a register full of cash. He called me up to the fence and asked if I wanted to get dinner, or go dancing. I was scared and shaking and told him no several times, and he only left when I falsely said I had a boyfriend. I was very aware that if he were to come over the fence, or just wait at the exit until I eventually had to leave, I could do nothing about it.
When my hair was very short, a hairdresser sent me to the barberās side of the store so they could get the back of my head with clippers. The barber followed me out to my car to ask me out afterwards. I was very aware that we were the only people in the parking lot when it happened, and that the lot itself was tucked behind the building with no clear visibility to the road.
Today, a man Iāve met once made it very clear he knows where I live, and used that knowledge to express a romantic interest. If he ever decides that heās unhappy with how I responded, he knows where I live. He knows what my car looks like. It is impossibly easy for him to determine when Iām home alone, and now I have to live with that knowledge.
Every woman I know has at least one story like this. My roommate had to be escorted to her car every night when she was a waitress, in case some man was waiting for her or a coworkerās shift to end.
If the person you want to ask out cannot physically run away from you when you are asking, YOU CANNOT ASK THEM OUT. You cannot ask someone out if they are at work. You cannot ask someone out if youāve followed them to a remote/unoccupied/enclosed area. You cannot GO TO SOMEONEāS HOME UNINVITED to ask them out. You are not being romantic. You are not ātaking initiativeā. You are terrifying the person you want to woo. If they say yes, it is not because they want to, it is because they are terrified of what might happen if they say no.
Iām so tired of being terrified by men who think theyāre being romantic.
This is the funniest shit Iāve seen all goddamn week

word count: 1k, where basically itachi and sasuko come into the morgue to identify their parentsā bodies bc theyāve been found in fucked up shape. warnings: mention of bodily harm, but done without any visual context or descriptors, meaning the characters know what happens, but they donāt know how it looks.Ā
āIām going to leave you both for a moment, excuse me,ā The pathologist was kind, and to the point, as most professionals were and for that Sasuko was grateful; people in the scientific field usually didnāt bother her with pitying stares or low empathetic tones. They gifted Sasukoās mind with factual, concrete information that could not be refuted or challenged. The chill of the morgue or her emotions, sheāll never know what caused her hands to shake. The chill felt like it was cornering her, and adrenaline in her system as she balanced her weight on her left leg again; she did not want to be here.
The silence that came over both Itachi and Sasuko was no longer her friend, turned on her and sentenced her to her turmoil. She knew what her father looked like without seeing him; his jaw slack, eyes liquefied in its sockets and skin taut against the skull. Bloated body in some parts, stitches running down the chest where the autopsy was performed, blunt force trauma to the skin on Fugakuās left eye, the cheekbone was broken, a fractured right hip, contusions up and down his chest. On his right shoulder, his bone had been pulled from its socket, inflammation had begun to engorge the joint by the time he died. On his arms, back, and chest were calculated fissures into the skin, chemical compounds found in bleach found in his bloodstream along with other compounds; her fatherās last moments had been an elaborate torture session that left her father an unrecognizably hollow receptacle of life.
āI donāt know why you donāt get someone else to handle the gruesome shit, aniki. We couldāve just read the fuckinā reports and gone home,ā She griped, behind her brother and repeating what she had always proposed to him. She knew how much this would hurt him because of how much it hurt her. She felt the shallowness of breath creep up her neck, hands fidgeting with her phone she no longer felt she could turn to block everything about this situation out.
Her brother had no response for her, his silence felt like a betrayal, he had succumbed to the hold the air around her had on her throat, like there was food stuck in her esophagus and she needed to lurch something out. It felt like she was slipping into quicksand with every second that her brother left her in silence, yearning for his voice because if she could get him to speak if she could get him to speak if she could get him to speak--, heās not saying anything, this isnāt right, this isnāt how these things went, what the fuck was he doing??
Itachi, please listen to me! She thought, a heaviness locking her shoulders in place, something towering over them and looming like a timer had been put on her, instincts poised and primed into action. To say anything, to do anything, anything. Impulses of violence flashed in her mind, staring at her brotherās turned back to her, his hands not moving from the stainless steel table their father lie on, his corpse every bit reposed and contained even in death, body positioning controlled and refined. The only difference was that he was cold in a literal sense, now.
Her musings momentarily tickled the bile in the back of her throat, thinking of how cold her father was now producing a cold sweat along her brow, a sick crawling sensation along her arms and legs. Her father wasnāt going to tell her this was all a plan he was in on, nor was her mother.
Her emotions recoiled from that line of thought, focus anxiously narrowing to getting her brother to fucking speak. Clammy hands wrapped around Itachiās arm, pushing against him, the warmth under her fingers and the sweat slickening her palms additional sensations to amplify the nervous energy in her chest, throat, fingers seeking something substantial to hang onto. āItachi,ā Her tongue heavy and jaw moving useless under the duress of her weak-will, voice sounding like it was underwater and enunciating to compensate for it sounded, āWe can get someone else to-to--ā The words knotted themselves in her throat, her ribs caging and restraining her chest to expand for only the shallowest of breaths. āGoddammit, stop ignoring me!ā
The stillness of the room, red flashes of anger flashed up from her chest and reddened her cheeks, mounting rage ricocheting off the walls and searching for somewhere to land, enflamed by silence and the sterile scent of the mortuary.
āWhat do you wanna do, look at it?ā She mocked, teeth chattering letting her brother go as if his silence had sucker-punched her. Her brotherās jaw clenched, and her heart leaped, nails clinging into the slightest reaction he could offer him and plead, begging for more. āWe already know Dadās body is--ā With those words, the wind was knocked out of her, tears blurring her vision of her brotherās face just to spite her. She dragged air through her lungs in a seething flurry of action as she fisted her fingers, red-hot and seething fury in her veins at her brother for not answering her, at the hairdresser for making being late, at traffic, at her coworkers, at her friends, at the world for having the audacity to continue existing while hers had stopped the moment her mommy and daddy went missing.
The sound of Sasukoās breath scraping against her tense body was a warning; the sound of it leaving was a vehement betrayal of the weeks of tolerance she had built up to this day, the day that she knew for absolute certain her parents were dead. She used past-tense vocabulary, which alienated her brother from being around her because Itachi was an optimist, ripping a wound open inside of her before grief could rip her open. She built this attitude to hide the fact that she had been naive enough to hope that her parents were alive, beneath all the realistic things she said aloud, āTheyāre both high profile, who wouldnāt want them dead.ā āIf someone was holding them ransom, theyād be dead by now.
look iām just going to post my unfinished works bc i canāt keep working on them it physically pains me
