Allons-y!

So have this pointless text post instead.

Well I have certainly changed a lot since my last times on here. I really lost myself for a little while in the baseball realm. I was a part of something I thought at the time was really special and cool but to find out it is mostly a facade. There are a lot of great people involved but with that there are also a lot of not so great people. I made a lot of bad decisions and did things that I am not  so proud of but I am here now and a better person because of it. During that time I struggled with alcohol abuse and now I have toned it way down. I feel so much better not killing my liver every single day of my life. I have, however been shown the 420 life, so to speak. I know it can be looked down upon as a drug but it really helped get me out of my anxiety and depression. I still miss going out and having that much fun but I am also very happy being settled down, in a sense. I have a very significant other, almost fiance, and things are pretty good! Ups and downs, as any normal relationship, but he’s a dreamer and a sarcastic ass sometimes. We have a fun, adventurous relationship and that is about to get a little more hectic because his 7 year old daughter is coming to live with us for the summer. Obviously I have never been a mother before, and this will be a very interesting experience for all involved. I love kids, especially her (we’ve been there to visit and we talk all the time on skype and the phone). I hope it brings us all closer together. I’m sure you’ll be hearing from me about all the craziness in the household!
