It turns out if you remove all vegetation from a landscape, you end up with a bunch of loose soil ready to move downstream. A fast-growing plant that covers everything in dense vegetation sounds like salvation when you’re surrounded by 40-foot deep gullies that get wider with every rainstorm.

There’s a big alcoholic spider that lives in my bathroom and it died last month but it lives its life over and over. And it matches my vibe exactly even if it’s not on “purpose” like all the other spiders. I will take nothing but inspiration and motivation from it
