Additional notes: Absolutely spectacular shot of lenticular clouds over the Sandwich islands. Also known as altocumulus standing lenticularis, these are stationary, lens-shaped clouds that form at high altitudes. These clouds form when moist air is forced to flow up around mountains and large hills. The water is super cooled and condensed from air below the dew point temperature.[x]

Volvo, Latin; means "I roll"

This was my Dream Car back in the day,, and years after. Price was quite high and I never got to own one. Did get a PV544 sedan, the one that looked a bit like a small '49 Ford but drove like a sports car.

Volvo P1800S; 1800cc high performance engine, twin SU sidedraft carburetors & superb performance for it's class. Produced from 1961 through 1972 with a switch to fuel-injection in the '70 model year (E1800S).

Some might remember seeing it in the TV series 'The Saint' staring Roger Moore.

Note to Volvo: Bring it back with techno updates and you will have a winner. (all over again)
