Some notes for when I was learning Italian tenses and, oop, the passato remoto is a whole entire workout, dude. I still have several more tenses to learn so yโall will probably see more notes soon! For the past few days, Iโve been setting up my workspace on Notion and itโs taking a while bcs thereโs a lot of pages Iโm including and Iโm currently working on my Italian page where Iโm putting all the resources, notes, etc. for my journey there. Itโs a lot, but itโs totally manageable and will help me learn more self-discipline. How are yโall planning to spend the weekend? This weekend, Iโm gonna be devoting a lot of time on Notion, try to finish off the Italian tenses, and hopefully read a bit more of The Notebook. Itโs really good so far and I havenโt cried yet, but Iโm sure I will. Once Iโve set up my workspace on Notion, Iโm planning to start a new daily routine starting Monday where Iโm able to set some time to do all the activities that I want. Iโm also planning to wake up early everyday so I can have more time! I always feel like Iโm running out of time everyday so itโll be nice to have a change. Iโve been MIA for a few days thanks to a lot of stuff akdfbvad butย Iโm back ! itโs really hard to go on consecutive meetings after classes, my eyes ache a lot and I tend to have to sleep it off :( it was my dadโs birthday today! hence the cake
12: how much time do you spend on studyblr on average?
about an hour to two hours on studyblr specifically, but on tumblr in general,, too much </3
13: do you have an aesthetic? if yes, what is it?
I donโt quite think I have a single aesthetic nailed down yet since this blog is relatively new ;;ย also if someone can tell me the different studyblr aesthetics please do enlighten as all I know is light/dark academia :โ>
14: what are some of your study essentials?
I always need a notebook or some kind of paper. I cannot function using typed notes, I need to write it down (and I donโt have a tablet so Ive never tried digitally handwriting them). that pilot juice up pen has been my go-to pen and I absolutely love how smooth it is! I also like to use some kind of brush pen for headers and a highlighter for a pop of color :โ> of course, thereโs my laptop,ย andย I keep water near me at all times to force myself to hydrate

when blm was at its peak, I distinctly remember lama @stuhde speaking out on it from her perspective. I deeply admire people who choose to be vocal and critical, and as a person from the philippines who was among those protesting the anti-terror bill at around the same time (I was still on my old acc kickasstudies), it felt good to know that there are people unafraid to speak out on issues that matter.
Crazy for me but Iโve been having some short study sessions almost every night this past week. Hopefully I can keep that up in the upcoming months!

After seeing Daphne talk about how you donโt necessarily have the standard pretty handwriting to be a studyblr, I wanted to post my in class notes where I just dot down the basics.
Day 14 - What are some of your study essentials?
I color code my lessons, so that lessons highlighter or brush pen, my mechanical pencil, a black pen, and an eraser. The other things I use are not strictly necessary but they bring joy.

the first week of classes is over, and wow i already have lots of things to do! but iโm super relieved because i really like my professors and TAโs and the material iโm learning is super interesting! i have to admit, balancing studying with chores and other life things like eating, cleaning, and doing the laundry can be a struggle, and my head is reeling because it seems like i have 20 deadlines to remember each week. but iโm going to stay positive and try to make the most out of my freshman year!
