the contrast between how iwtv/tvl and hotd's respective fandoms react to the dark themes discussed in the shows is so interesting. with tvl's incest and violence, it's artistic and beautiful storytelling. hotd's, on the other hand, is just the creator's thinly veiled fetish. like yeah, hotd's writing has been ridiculous but boiling down at most badly portraying and at the very least just portraying dark themes to kinks is so weird to me.

good show = good and artistic representation
