Urgent Help Needed

I woke up with the power supply cut off, even though we've paid a thousand for the last two months because that wasn't enough to settle the outstanding bills. Ever since they changed our meter somehow our bills have skyrocketed and the power company refuses to look into it, dismissing me.

I can't earn money fast enough, and now it's practically impossible to do so since i work at home AND my old laptop is dead so I can't work outside my house either.

She snaps her fingers in her face. As if that would do anything.

he's a super sweet guy once you really get to know him.

"Didn't he shoot at you? Kidnap you? Blow the brains out of a bunch of people right in front of you?"

"I have a boyfriend yeah, its serious. We're 'courting' right now." The thought of them brought a flush to his face, James looked healthier and happier than he had done in a long time.

"Suppose I should give you the rundown, I did for Rachael too; Turns out my mother is a demonic queen, meaning I'm half demon and heir to her throne. I unlocked that part and this is what I actually look like." James explained, "Hannah and I met Lord Alexander by chance, he's king of the Kingdom of Xandora. He rules over it with the assistance of his adviser and court mage Cromwell. Hannah won him over being the bundle of sweetness she is. We also grew close with Kalyan, a naga guardian of his jungle and Doctor Edgar Cizko, who became Uncle figures to her and... like brothers to me. Cromwell's been a godsend when it comes to looking after Hannah too, they're all an amazing support."

He fidgeted with his jumper, a dreamy smile on his face, "Alexander and I found out we had a lot in common; lovers of food, love gardening, keen to learn new things and enjoy the outdoors, and we both love Hannah to bits... it just sorta... happened over time. He stole my heart. Debbie met him and likes him, and he's a father figure to Hannah. She calls him 'Papa'. I know where I want this to go, but we're taking it step by step."

James dug out his phone, bringing up a picture, "This is him."

His boyfriend was... huge. Sharp teeth, deadly gaze, dressed in rich reds that complimented his purple scales.

"Wowie! Dare I say hubba hubba? You got yourself a catch! I'm so happy for you!"

Joking aside, there was a softness in her eyes that can't be missed. More so than happy for him, she was proud of him. He had come from such a rough place, and it was really wonderful to see him flourishing.
