- Luigi came in wearing a blue suit and had a new haircut and he looked healthy.

- Judge Carro stated that he will be unsealing the 250.10 notice relating to the defense's claim of Extreme Emotional Disturbance (EED). (In which the prosecution argued that the defense hasn’t provided enough information for)

- Judge Carro had also ordered the defense to provide additional information and both parties should submit proposed redactions for documents currently under seal. (They are expected to be unsealed shortly)

- Luigi’s team has been ordered to turn in information regarding the identity of the defense expert and details regarding the emotional distress the defense alleges Luigi suffered.

- The only reason previous hearing was sealed because of the defense, in order to give them time to determine whether they intended to pursue the psychological defense.

- Karen noted that the defense requested the proceedings be sealed because this particular defense is not available in the federal case.

- there were talks of a possible delay in which the prosecution seemed frustrated about.

- Judge Carro also dismissed the charge relating to the magazine, as it was among the evidence proved inadmissible.

- next virtual hearing is scheduled for August 11.

- it was also mentioned by the ADA that they want to transfer Luigi to Rikers, but for now he remains at MDC Brooklyn.
