I made this background for @angothemango and @nikitacdraws class “Versatile VisDev Styles 3 days workshop” at @warriorartcamp . We did different exercises during the class to create styles based on shape, line and painting style. What a great month! I’ve always wanted to do the Plein Air April and finally I finished the 30 paintings last Friday. I painted 1 painting per day. My goal was to practice more painting based on real life, even if there was very little time to do so during the day because of my job. I spent about an hour each on my tiny format 4x4 inch, and I went around my neighborhood to paint cute houses, small businesses, street plants, and trees (and luckily there was a family weekend trip to Yosemite 🤞). I have to paint, there were some days that I thought I couldn’t make it, so I made a couple of plant portraits from home. What a great opportunity to learn, share work, and follow other artists doing the same challenge as me. Again, thank you! @warriorpainters . #glimpseofnature . .
