First Update of 2018!
Hey all!
2018 has arrived and has been here a little while already, which is kind of crazy. I haven't posted much recently and, as I start to shake off the holiday hibernation (and month of intense World of Warcraft play), I'd like to change that.
Pindecency is still a work in progress with a lot of ideas in the woodwork. That being said, I think I've started to narrow down some goals and directions moving forward:
1) GoFundMe Campaign
I've been toying with the idea for a while now, but I think I'm getting ready to start a GoFundMe campaign to get Pindecency off the ground. Kind of like a Kickstarter campaign, I want to offer backers over a certain amount a special gift. GoFundMe seems like a better platform, as I wouldn't have to hit a minimum goal. It'd be more legwork to get 'backers' their goodies, I think, but it'd be worth it.
2) 'Backers' Kit
My 'Backers Kit' will be the special goodie that I offer people that help out with the campaign. I have a special pin that I've designed up and will hopefully be shopping around for pricing soon. I'm also working on a special card/backing for it that would make it even more special.
3) Design Arsenal
As I start to get the campaign going and the 'Backers Kit' started, I am going to work on getting a collection of production-ready designs created. Part of the reason I haven't got final designs for a lot of things yet is because, frankly, I don't know what a final design looks like. I'm sure it's more complicated than I understand, but still need the guidance that only paying for a service can offer.
