Ok ok so, where do i start,

Let me quickly talk about the designs themeselves. This is my fiest time colouring their college vers so colours might change, at least a lil bit.

Carl has little laces on his shoes like he has in the original design from his baldi mod! He also has a jacket, i think i got subconsciously inspired by this one image rapparep made with carl in a jacket, and, him being in his 20s here, this more chill design fits! HE ALSO. HAS A MULLETT. 💔

I dont have much to say about Meri, she went through few iterations for her college outfit, one was where she had a sweater and a skirt, but, thats before the idea that she doesnt really like skirts n dresses came. Shes very into these bracelets that you can make yourself, so she has a ton on her arms, even giving them to her friends! You can actually see bracelets on both Juans and Carls designs here! :P

Juan???? Hes just a little freak, hes an even freakier freak that he is in the present. He has shorter hair as a nod to his fnf mod design! Square glasses to differenciate him a bit more from his present look, and the BAGGIEST, LONG PANTS EVER 😭 hes literally cleaning the floor when hes walking.

Juans just really cute in this ver im sorry 💚 i gen adore him so much in his college design. These are my quick idea-doodles while i was concepting how he could look like. He took me...the MOST. Amount of time to get an idea for. Idk why,

I will get more in-depth about these three's relationship some other time, for now all you need to know is that theyre so close they see eachother as siblings! How sweet! 🩷💜💚Carl is the mom of the group while the other two fight and bite eachother

Also this is how Meri looks in the present if anyone is curious :^) my queen. I will also! Get more in-depth as to why she has grey skin and purple hair soon enough! This is an important aspect of both ptf and dl so i really wanna explain it, as no, shes not dying her hair!

i just wanna give some insight for the two people who are interested in it :P first. potatoes and fishsticks: "Main human trio" because as much as only dave is technically a main character from these three, they all play a big or big-ish role in the plot and are also representative of the siblings trio! or vice versa! "The siblings" are a completely different topic but in short, Dave is co-main-character-ing the story with Martin! Martin isnt human hes a thing from diff dimension yaddayadda Martin! Has two siblings! Everett and Stanley! Stanley appeared in this drawing while Everett briefly appeared in this animation!

And, in short, both the human trio plus the sibling trio mirror eachother when it comes to what role theyre playing in the plot

Dave = Martin (main characters) Emilio = Everett (villains) Olivia = Stanley (heavily important side characters)

Going back to the actual drawing, I was playing with their teen versions for at least a year now, but never decided to give them "proper" coloured refs, the only thing that teen emilio and dave had was one non-canon meme video where they are all in blood. I had their designs figured out back in 2025, Teen Dave being actually my first ptf post on here! The only one that was missing was Olivia🍀

I don't think I ever mentioned Olivia here so brief explanation! Olivia is Emilios twin sister! She was born few mintues before him and she takes great pride knowing that shes the older one. In the ptf-present, shes a baker and adores fashion! She lives with her girlfriend and has a turtle and a gecko <3 she was also a big help to Dave when Melody was just a tiny baby. She is a walking ball of sunshine but in her teen years she was pretty rebelious and mean LOL

Other lore stuff, Dave and Emilio became friends back in elementary school, dave then of course got to meet Olivia, and they all became close and the twins kinda adopted Dave as their 3rd siblings how cute <3

UGLY. i hate themmm hate hate aaaa I love them Those are my designs for Muko and Dave back at college times! Ive been really quietly obsessing over this part of the story for a whiiiilllee now omg, i just, never posted it, ahah, these guys look so different from their original counterparts i could just call them my ocs atp

This is just such a happy go lucky time (at least for dave idk super about muko) and, KEEP ME HERE! KEEP ME HERE I DONT LIKE THE SAD PARTS OF THE ACTUAL STORY PLEASSEEE KEEP ME IN THIS PROLOGUE FOREVER. no. actually. DONT. BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHATS MISSING FROM IT?? BAMBI. CRIES. DAVE AND BAMBI DONT KNOW EACHOTHER AT THAT TIME...SIGHH

Side note! Dave isn't disabled here! In the story he loses his legs right after college, so, let the boy run around for a while...

(older drawing so muko doesnt have his iconic curly hair sigh) His hair is FAKE. This is nawt is naturaly hair bro...he just curls it up to be cool...thats why in the present he doesnt have curly hair

but as a more serious answer, 🥺🥺I DON'T KNOW. I'm thinking of doing some stuff with it after artfight ends as artfight itself and some other stuff brought the "motivation" back!

I'm writing "motivation" as technically I DO, HAVE, THE MOTIVATION ALL THE TIME, but the problem is this DISGUSTING Dave and Bambi AU that completely took over my brain for a year now. I WANT TO GET BACK TO POTATOES AND FISHSTICK, I DO, REAALLY DO I MISS MY CHARACTERS but UGHH gen the fixation on Dave's Logs is so big its hard to work around it

BUT 👀im still gonna TRY to do stuff, theres few characters that need updated refs and while doing that i could also do some side comics or explanations here and there... everyone who has seen my tumblr page knows i freakin love to rant my heart out (just like im doing rn) and ive been genuinely DYING to say ANYTHING about ptf for like 3 years atp but never found a good way to say or show it, or, i just felt like THIS SHI TOO STUPIDDD BLEHHHH (same with Dave's Logs GIGGLING the stuff i upload/say here is like the TIP of the iceberg)

BUT YEAH :P again i do have ideas, even some animatic ideas which these days is rare (bc everything is going to the dnb au EWWW) so i will try to make a room for my ugly guys.

Tysm to that one commission that i commissioned of dave and melody and one emilio art i got on artfight last year bc those two pieces of art literally shaped my artstyle so hard oh my goodness look at the comparison with the 2025 reference he was so UGLY SO UGLY 💔

I'm quite proud of the improvement i did over the year 🥺 i think i have gotten better at proportions and overall feeling more comfortable in my style. when i was drawing the 2025 refs my style was kinda in the 'mid-evolution' process cuz i remember thats when i found out my fav artist to this DATE which subconsciously made me shift my style just a tiiinyyy tinny bit yk

I ALSO, think that doing bajillion tumblr requests HEAVILY improved how i draw too! GENUINELY. The minute i started drawing so many different characters in so many different poses i feel like something clicked in my brain which led me to making such pretty reference sheets <3 so whoever sent me a drawing request in the last month THANK YOU and keep sending this is actually helping me improve and im as surprised as you are

Long answer:

Muko is TOP-TOP favourite from the mod! I know shockers coming from a person with Muko on their pfp Though, he sometimes is fighting for that spot with Dave as theyre my top 2 fav characters from the dave and bambi universe in general, and I think BOTH Muko and Dave are portrayed fantastically in this mod. Muko gets wayyy less screentime in dde so far so the freak out i do for him is WAY bigger than for dave tho LMAO

other characters which i like are Spike, which i actually grew REALLY fond over BECAUSE of dde, Carl (HIS OUTFIT. IS AMAZING. I CANNOT STATE HOW MUCH I LOVE HIS DESIGN IN DDE) and CLASSIFIED and Marble by design standpoints as they didnt have any screen time in the mod yet!

Circling back to Muko, i actually owe a LOT to dde Muko specifically as without him, or dde in in general my own personal AU wouldn't look the way it looks now. The minute i found out about dde my Muko au version did a whole 180, taking a LOT of aspects from his dde counterpart as i SAW THE VISION. I SEE THE DDE MUKO VISION (imo, thats the best rendition of his character in any of the mods ive seen so far (even canon ver but thats just my personal taste)) Because how much my AU means to me, dde Muko means as much, as without him I would not have the project I obsess over daily for the past year or more 🥹
