Here’s my baby scorpion! She lives in a condiment cup.
Chunky girl! She’s probably going to molt soon.

Can you help me? I have some pill bugs, but it seems like every few days I lose another one. It’s always the same: they seem perfectly fine, crawling around exploring their habitat and all, but then later I find them curled up on their backs, twitching, and then eventually they die. I can’t work out what I could be doing wrong, and haven’t been able to find any helpful info online. I just really want to solve the problem so these little guys can be happy. :( If you have any thoughts?
Hi! I’m not quite sure where the problem lies so I’ll just go over how to set up the enclosure. For substrate anything is fine honestly, they aren’t nearly as picky with their substrate as other animals. I make my own blend personally, but you don’t have to do that! Just topsoil is good enough for them. Then you’ll want to make sure to add in plenty of moss (most people use sphagnum moss), leaf litter, and bark pieces! They feed mostly off the leaf litter and bark but I also like to include a cuttlebone in the setup so they can get calcium when they need it. I keep one end of the enclosure dry and the other end wet, so they can regulate what they need humidity-wise. I hope this helps!
