⤷ he had ambition, and he always wanted to be an idol. the years before auditioning, he cleaned the dance studio near his house in order to practice there late at night or early in the morning -- sometimes, both. he attended to several underground rap battles, he watched them closely, he wanted to be just like that. his brother gave him a lot of support, going with him and soothing his nerves in the day of the audition, and then, as if it was luck, wrld ent wanted both of them, and that way, they debuted under cubo³ as the first twins they had in the company.

⤷ scouted from the streets of germany, thomas lived comfortably and lavishly, being of a fourth generation of taiwanese immigrants and having his family participate in building the little asia of germany. tom has always been aware of his looks, and nothing ever affected him much, for he always thought that  beauty comes from inside, and the outside was only a bonus. when the lookouts for wrld. ent approached him, he agreed first hand, which took them aback. despite his calm and relaxed demeanor, he likes a challenge, and he wanted to try and see how it was to live away from his family, doing something he never expected. he arrived in south korea without knowing a single word of their language. he struggled, and trained hard, never thinking of quitting. his friends only realized where he had gone to once he debuted under r.ex, which caused a fuss, and made the group really popular in that part of germany.

⤷ sometimes he wonders what is to have a  father, but this soon passes when he realizes his mother is more than anyone could ask and more than he could ever ask for. getting pregnant at sixteen was never in her plans, but she counted with the help of her parents for the first three years of his life, only to move to barcelona to take up a better job offering. so yes, nowadays his mom is only thirty-six years old, and beautiful beyond her age. santi never knew he wanted to be an idol, but when wrld. ent worldwide auditions came to his country, he was dared by his friends to participate -- since he looked just like an idol. he was admitted, and, that way, considered the youngest idol ever debuted in a group under wrld. ent name. he is cubo³ makne and, despite his height, acts as though. he sees the world through a rose colored glass, and battles the boys and his sunbaes away from his mother's constant visits.

⤷ embedded in his genes, he lives music every since his first breath, noah's father is a music producer, and before moving to canada, he worked for different entertainment companies in south korea for the first hallyu wave. he gave up of a promising, comfortable life to dare across the world and try the western market, which welcomed him but didn't end up as profitable as he expected. there, he met noah's mother, a vocal coach -- and there they decided to reside and start their family. noah has other three sisters, him being the only boy -- and music is their everything.  he had a dream, and when he approached his father to tell of said dream, he disapproved greatly, at first. to have his only son leave everything he had built in north america only to go back to korea was something that hurt his pride more than he cared to admit -- but his mother, caring and soft spoken, managed to convince his husband that, just like himself, their son had his own path to trail. they invested their money on him, even though he was already versed in different instruments and knew well how to sing, noa wanted to go to korea and not use his father's name, but build one for his own. slowly, he is paying back to his parents, slowly, he is getting more and more well known.

⤷ power was what he was raised in. around south korea, the  pyo family is widely known for its important ties all around the high society, and, most importantly, how they use those ties in their favor. they are not blackmailers, officially, but lawyers and the best at what they do. kangmin isn't any different -- graduated from harvard university, he made the way back to his home country to seize a part of the market that his family hasn't yet stepped on. he didn't want to be a simple idol's lawyer, or take care of part of the bureaucratic system of a company;  he wanted to be it, itself. he quickly escalated to the position he is nowadays, in reality, it was already where he started. his ambition moves him, and he knows that, soon enough, he will call the entire place his.

⤷ people don't know the truth of him being there, they don't know that he is the wrld ent ceo's half brother and that he needs to live quietly and softly, without causing a fuss. he was born from an affair, and, that way, not entitled to anything his brother has -- but, having a somewhat good relationship with him has granted, at least, a comfortable position within the company, even though no one is to known what links the two of them together. junsu works hard, and he had a big responsibility in his hands, by being r.ex manager -- but it paid off, showing how competent and good at it he really is.

⤷ built like a god, junhee's physique didn't appear overnight. an athlete, a swimmer since he was five, he has practiced his entire life to be an athlete. back home, he had a wall filled with his achievements, gold medals and trophies, certificates attesting that he was, indeed, the best. basically, that was everything and anything people expect him to do; an olympic champion, for he had achieved some in london's 2012 olympics. it was a surprise, though, not see him in 2016 -- and later on that year, people would understand why. he debuted with his first album, "pressure", and there he told how his passion had ran out, how his muscles ached and gave up before its time, and how he always wanted to do that -- music. junhee is well seen among the knetz for his good looks and good music, never disappointing with every comeback, and for being down to earth.

⤷ now this one was wrapped in privileges from t he day he was born, but with that, make a particular sadness tinged and laced with neglect that only he experienced among the shin family. politicians of all forms, his dad started simple, but with ambition, nonetheless, enough to make him the current president of south korea. even though jaehyun tried to get his attention, but his father's was only directed to his older brother, troublesome and rebellious -- something jaehyun wasn't, even though he tried ( and he tried a lot. ) his mother's eyes were only directed to his brother, too. her older son, her world -- so, the only thing jaehyun knew was how to live in the shadow of a brother that didn't even like him, either. a party lead him to meet someone, someone who saw him for the first time, someone who didn't know who he was, but it wasn't necessary, either. introduced to the entertainment world, jaehyun found purpose, finally, he knew what to do other than throw aimless parties and blow his family's money. he used his privilege to get into the company, to teach himself how to produce, and to find that he was really good at it.

⤷ it was not a privileged life, but it was a comfortable one. born and raised in london, dominic attended to great school and lived comfortably with his family in the k-town part of the city.  he had everything, stability and a future well planned, but everything bored him to death -- instead, he occupied his mind with anything, ever; ranging from random illegal graffiti to, preferably, underground rapping. that was how he got into wrld ent., a video of his went viral for a couple days, and they tracked them a couple weeks later. to get into the company he was only asked to do what he's done on the video, to which he responded with a smirk and a perfect delivery. of course, dominic needed to be polished -- perfected, even, trained properly. his rowdy and rebellious personality was a problem, too -- prone to cause exactly that, but something that painted the groups with many more colors.

⤷ different from all the girls from her classroom, she never dreamed to be a teacher, or work for an important company nor be an idol, since it was the trend at the time -- she wanted to sing. but how could such a shy girl like her sing to the public? everyone in jeju island knew that sunny could sing and enchant everyone, even jokes of her being a mermaid herself were made and are still alive every time she goes home. when the night fell, quietly around them, sunny would be found at the music room at the school, practicing to her heart's content; people were amazed, and begged her to let the world know of her talent -- but she simply said she didn't have big ambitions like that. her father was a fisherman, and her mother and her helped in the family's restaurant when he was in the open sea, she knew it would be a sacrifice way too big ask them for such a thing. but to her surprise, they had already started working on it, and when she hid her acceptance letter to the most prestigious music academy in the country, they gifted her with enough money, that they've been saving all along, for her to move and follow her dreams. she studied to become a vocal coach, and she was well disputed among the companies and solo artists for her help even before she graduated, but she chose wrld ent among all of them. she is passionate about her work, knows well what she does, even though she remains a quiet shy mermaid from jeju, deep down.

⤷ an unfortunate car crash took the life of both her parents when she was only five, and the night she was to spend at her grandmother's house ended up being even more nights than she expected. sora lived with her until she no longer could, until her grandmother had fallen ill and soon, too, passed away; being forced, then, to move in with her aunt -- the one no one in the family was in touch with for a long time. she was eight at the time, and her aunt saw in her the opportunity to make that situation profitable; she filled her niece's naive head with pink-colored stories of fame and money, unconditional love and appraisal, she only had to be good at it. it was a good time, she managed to "sell" sora to a company of suspicious precedence at the tender age of nine, to which she stayed there and suffered more than she should've until she was thirteen. at that time, she already had training -- and she already was versed in the art of deceiving those around her to manage and get what she wanted, and so she sneaked out almost every night to see underground rap battles, the ones she barely had access to. after being thrown out of one of the clubs, one of wrld ent idols who were also there at the time took her under his wing, and after buying her some kimbap and yogurt, she begged him to help her, telling all the horrors she had been through. she's been part of the wrld ent family for six years now, always thankful to her savior, even though her tough and headstrong personality doesn't let it show that much.  and yes, she managed to become the rapper she always dreamed to be, making everyone's jaw hang every time she grabbed the mic and showed an entire different persona than her cute face shows.

⤷ a complete and utter brat. rei was already known before the idol fame, for she was a star in the sns sphere -- "ulzzang", was the term most often used to tag her pictures spread all over internet. but it was not only that, the luxurious and prestigious life came through thanks to her grandfather, an owner of one of the biggest construction conglomerates in japan. she was born in osaka, but moved to live and be raised by her grandparents in kyoto, for her mother was an irresponsible single mother, sent to the united states to get her head back in place. which took her years to come back. they spoiled her, big time, and she grew up with no bigger ambitions other than to exploit everything that was handed to her in a silver platter. wrld ent was the one who approached her, seeing the potential in gathering a public to follow even her idlest endeavors, rei was scouted by them because of her pretty face and magnetizing way. she was, and still is pretty difficult to work with -- prone to escapades in the middle of the night, parties that goes against the rules, and a rather sour behavior at times, but she is an incredible asset, and the public adores her, making her crave for attention grow even bigger and stronger.

⤷ a hallyu star from the 2002, narae was an idol of a big girl group that didn't last as long as they deserved. debuting at sixteen, people always told her it was crazy, but she wanted to pursue the dream of being an artist; her brother already worked at an entertainment company, and she convinced him to take her to audition behind their parents' back. once she was in, there was no going back -- she struggled a lot, and had seen some terrible things, but then she met a man that made her give up of everything. married at twenty, narae was the first to quit her group, and, consequentially, watch them grow apart and be torn bit by bit. she regretted her choice, greatly, especially because her marriage didn't last more than three years. she didn't want to go back at being an idol, but she still didn't want to give up on her dream of working with what she always knew what to do. narae joined wrld ent with a lot of baggage, and still a lot to learn, to which she humbly obliged and dutifully worked hard to be where she is now. being hive's manager has been her life ever since, working along with the girls that turned to be her sisters.

⤷ the oh family holds a lot of prestige in the academic universe, and that was expected from hyojin, as well. her parents are famous university professors and researches, praised and acclaimed in their chosen areas; her brother, too, became an academic researcher, and they soon expected him to become the same as their parents. hyojin, didn't differ, she was in the top 3 of her school, one important school of south korea, and her grades were unstoppable. being a genius was, perhaps, in the oh family's genes. but she was ambitious, and following their steps was not what she wanted; secretly, and since her parents granted her a great deal of independence for a teenager, she joined a dance crew -- where they practice, presented small showcases and busked in hongdae during the night. it lasted long enough, the dance crew dissolved itself, but the members, jealous of hyojin's ability of juggle all of her responsibilities, told her parents and they came to reason with her which path she opted to follow. after a deal was made, they took her to wrld. ent, knowing the ceo they arranged an audition where they would watch, as well -- if she was truly good, she could be an idol; if not, she would work with them, in whatever the chose.  after she joined the company, she continued her studies, showing her parents and family that she could be all she wanted -- nowadays, she works on her phD thesis while still in the group that became her family.

⤷ having to prove oneself once again is not easy. jade had been sent to study abroad in new zealand when she was only nine, and there she lived since then, alone in a family's friend house. she learned how to be self-sufficient, and because of the family's host influences, she got into music and, later on and most importantly, dance. she joined a dance crew at school, and showed her talent through many presentations at school and on the streets. jade, then, asked her parents to come back home -- right after she graduated high school, at seventeen, only to arrive into another storm. her father had been accused -- and proven guilty -- of a corruption crime, and this sent her entire family into dismay. she thought of giving up, of going back to new zealand and live as if she didn't belong to her family, but as she was wondering about it, she saw the ads of wrld. ent. audition process on her phone and decided to try out.  what most people don't know is that she got in because of her singing technique, and the dancing was only a plus; she also passed the terrifying mondays auditions, but she is not one to brag about it. jade is responsible and independent, being quite dependable at times, even though it irritates her slightly. she never comments about her family and prays that none of their fans will find out about the whole scandal.

⤷ angie had never imagine that she would become an idol in her life, her parents worked for the chinese embassy in south korea, and the only thing she had mapped for herself was to follow the same diplomatic steps they had presented to her. she was doted of a extreme beauty, but nothing much more than that — she had, of course, music classes at school, knew how to play three different instruments ( piano, violin and harp ), was educated in ballet and chinese traditional dance and could speak five languages. but an idol? never. she didn't take that path herself,  but after leaving the venue of one concert she was scouted by wrld. entertainment; to which she didn't believe at first and ignored their calls until actually paid them a visit. she was the first idol of a different nationality to have debuted under the company's name, and she takes pride in that. angie is a jack of all trades, not having one specific talent within the group, but she has written and composed many of their songs. some years after their debut, she was introduced to the fashion world and became the face of many luxury brands. fundamentally, she is a classy woman, poised and respected, her face ( and height ) known worldwide; still, her members and close ones see a face that she doesn't show to many, a much rather adventurous and prankster face, a lively woman that differs a lot from her image.

⤷ coming from a really poor family, ally's parents never had the opportunity to give her something more than they struggled to offer. right before entering high school, she took a daring step against her parents wishes and decided to audition to a entertainment company — to which she received many 'no's before finally getting an yes from wrld. ent. she soon became their princess,  a really profitable one. she debuted with an album called 'gemini feed', and surprised the whole country with her soulful voice and meaningful lyrics, even for a 15 year old girl. nowadays, her comebacks are extremely expected by all and, for the company, it means a huge amount of money coming their way. she is the result of the environment she grew up in, humble and hard-working, but also a little spoiled by the fame. she got involved in some dating scandals, to which were quickly denied by the company, but the fans still suspect of its veracity.
