This is going to be a lot, all of my OCS are basically from my own original comic universe I'm planning of making down the line just retrofitted into The DC universe but onto Mara
A big part of the surgeverse is the end of the assassin era and the resurgence of martial arts that they indirectly killed off and how this starts is with the Death of Ras Al ghul, after he dies a power gap grows and multiple people try to fill that gap one of these is another oc of mine Thomas Redwell who grants himself the name of The Grand assassin and forms the HellFlame Clan
The HellFlame Clan quickly rises to the top Three of the assassin organizations and Thomas Redwell eventually has a child with a succubus from Hell which eventually led to The Birth of the Mara Redwell unbknowest to Thomas, His lover goes back to Hell and he's left with Mara who when she finally turns 6, her face begins to mutate while most of it is human, about 60 percent of her face seems to have gained a Demonic Fungus that disfigured her and lead to her Having violent outbursts when anyone saw her face, Thomas not knowing on how to cure his daughter decides to equip her with a Oni mask (yes this is very important to her symbolism)
While wearing the oni mask, Mara is in a docile state back to her Regular self and Thomas wanting to find a cure for his daughter's inflictions begins a multi year conflict that eventually evolves into a full out war with the league of assassins all the meanwhile Mara is sent to live with her Aunt And Uncle with somewhat frequent visits from Thomas, at age 12 she moves to keystone city where her infliction has gotten better but she still has to wear an Oni mask it's here where she finds out about her origins and her father's Clan but decides to keep a secret because the last thing she wants to do is keep her father away from her so continues playing with the story her uncle gives her about Thomas being a diplomat while also trying to find a way to dismantle his clan and get him to come home
Around 14 her infliction while still pretty bad is has finally died down to 23 percent of her face with half of her mouth still being the most disfigured, and she loves it, despite the fact it's a demonic fungus she actually does enjoy it because it gives her things like Fire breathing, enhanced reflexes and a few more abilities, eventually she starts getting into trouble with the law which her cousin, Lilac Hexagon doesn't approve, the two care about each other but Mara is a bit more laid back compared to her heavenly Cousin, which means Yes, Mara despite being part demon and having a lot of Fury when she gets mad, isn't actually that rude to others, Compared to her Cousin Lilac who uh, while she puts up a facade of a Princess of a corporation and acts professional, you do one thing wrong she's cursing your name and will take out a. Spear at you
The two would eventually form a duo, Mara gaining the title of "The demonic hand of the law" but despite all of that keeps it a secret to her father to again avoid her from being abandoned as her father is not a big fan of superheroes being apart of a shadow organization and all, When she finally turns 14 she meets Jai, and the first thing he did? Take off her mask, I will let you imagine how that turned out, but after that and after telling Jai about her issues with her father, Jai decides while he can't be the one to convince her father to stop his crusade reassures Mara that her Infliction isn't a curse and just apart of her that doesn't inhibit her from helping people, he can at least still help her gain the confidence she needs to face her father face to face and so Mara joins his team and eventually joins in on adventures into the timeless manor finally gaining the name of Mara Ghoul
And it was just in time cause now her father needed to be convinced as the soul alliance has finally began to make their moves to Exterminating any Rivals besides the League of assassins, can Mara convince her father? Well she could but surprisingly The one who will bring sense into her father's head is a Questionable Green speedster, Thaddeus thawne that will finally help convince Thomas Redwell to give up the name of the grand Assassin so him and Mara Can be together and she can be cured, but that whole adventure is for another time
POWERS just a quick rundown on her powers and abilities
HellFire - the ability to use Hellfire, can not be shot out of her hands, has to come out of her mouth and cannot be aimed also tends to cause a cause of Dry mouth after use
Weapon Teleportation - Mara uses sai's that were given to her by Her cousin (look lilac can summon spears she didn't want her cousin to feel left out) but this power allows her to teleport her weapons to her, though they are incredibly hot
Heat resistant/Enhanced Durability against fire- this is self explanatory but it is apart of her set, she is pretty much resistant to Hot environments or fire being used on her
Rage mode - This is more of a negative but she does ask Jai if they are In a pinch he has a full right to rip off her mask and cause her to go Crazy on any baddies(though she specifics it has to be against non human enemies)
Enhanced reflexes - she will land on her feet if she jumps off a building oh and she can dodge Attacks pretty effectively
Inform - now this is going to be a surprise but Mara barley actually fights, when she was a duo with Lilac, lilac does most of the fighting she stands back and uses Inform, this abilities origin is unknown but it could be from her mother, this gives her the ability to Check the information of every person in a 10 mile radius, what they're thinking, what their plans are and where their current location is at, while this ability isn't good for combat it is good for support and giving out a clear map of an area and this ability is not even Enhanced, she can train it to eventually Map out that entire 10 miles area or even increase her range to To 100 miles, this also emits a radio wave that can be picked up by allies and allows her to stay in contact with everyone as long as they stay in range, Mara as a support unit is much MUCH more better than her as a combat unit and it isn't even used to it's full potential
Chocolate - Jai found her In his pantry once when she came to visit and ate all his chocolate, every last Piece, she knows it makes her feel bad but it's delicious so it's okay
Guns n roses - she loves the band guns n roses, her favorite songs includes Paradise city, Sweet o child of mine and Knockin' on heavens door, she's sad she will never get to see the classic line up perform, it was very sad but her father did and left a recording for her to watch
Mythology/Folklore - she likes to study mythology due to her Aunt running a foundation that researches them but she still gets spooked out by some despite her being part demon and her cousin being part Angel
Leather jackets - she doesn't need to worry about overheating or sweating, this girl is wearing leather jackets like her Father and uncle and she does not care
Baseball - Home run after home run, this girl does not miss and she's not even using Inform
Mask making - Her wearing an Oni mask for basically her entire life has made her adopt in custom mask making

1. While Mara's infliction stems from her biology, the removal of it will not lead to the removal of her powers, it's also possible that with time it could simply fade away
2. Due to her Assassin heritage she is invited to join the league of light in year 2
3. her uncle is the owner of the hexagon incorporation, the company behind the keystone beautification project
4. Eventually the Infliction on her face does heal and stop disfiguring her face allowing her to take the mask off but it does leave her skin in a red tint until it's fully healed
