Hi guys! Sorry for being very inactive. It has been so long since we posted a chapter. Personally, I’ve been very busy. We’re sorting things out right now.

Sorry I haven’t been replying to any emails or messages but here’s our statement:

I’m the only one who’s really moving things around here with help from freelance translators/cleaners/typesetters. For Shokubutsu Zukan: so far, Chapters 4 and 5 have been translated. I don’t know if I will be able to release it.  We will not be releasing Vol. 2 and 3 as there is a lack of raws, translators, cleaners.

It’s the same thing with Kimi o Matsu Akaiito, we still have 7,8 and an extra chapter to be released but I’m not sure when since it hasn’t been typeset. 

Lastly, Bambi to Dhole. As of now, Impatient Scans has picked it up and we will be officially dropping it now. Thank you so much for doing so as I myself would love to see this translated till the end. (Yukimi and Tetsu ftw!)

Thank you very much for the readers who supported this short lived scanlation group and  the manga that we were able to translate. Especially Bambi to Dhole. We’re very sorry that we were not able to keep up with the releases and it is regrettable that we were not able to finish the story of Tetsu and Yukimi. Your questions and support were always fuel for us to keep going in spite of our schedule.

I would like to say thank you to the Translators, especially Miyano-sama, Jude, MorninWarrior, Hiyoko, Haru, and Yuuko, for translating the mangas that we have released. To the cleaners, Mob, Klint, Kazemechi, Renjin, typesetter Nada, and QC Merida, thank you also for your help in the scanlation process.  I’m also very grateful for OneSnowshoe and his group for collaborating and seeing Mizu no Iro Gin no Tsuki until the end (and for being the first manga that we were able to finish!). Pigeon Scans would not have been possible if not for the people above.

If there’s any group that would like to pick up SZ and KoMA, you’re very much welcome to do so. There’s no assurance from me that I would be able to finish the remaining chapters as I’m pursuing my graduate studies right now.

Thank you and I hope you will continue on giving love for SZ, KoMA and BtD.

tl;dr: We’re not going to scanlate anymore, impatient scans picked up BtD, thank you to everyone who made this scanlation group possible.

But before releasing chapter 13, there is a special chapter on volume 3 involving Raichi and Funakoshi but that would be released later on. <3

Hi guys! No idea if you guys are still reading this, or even aware of this scanlation group but I’m writing this post in order to tell you that:

1. We are VERY VERY sorry for going on a hiatus without any announcement whatsoever

I just took the board exams (and passed!!!!)

So from April to August, I was reviewing for it since the exams are on the last week

Sorry, but license first!

2. However, I am pleased to inform you, that I will try to get this group up and running again.

We’ll try to release and recruit as much as we can.

But we can’t really assure you of constant releases

Since this group practically died and now we’re back to square one

Which is basically one person doing everything except translating

3. I am currently experiencing an indecision

As to what to do after the boards

Med school? Masters?

Happy new year everyone (Yes, I know. It’s too late. HAHA)

We have 4 chapters for release today: Kimi o Matsu 5 and 6, Shokubutsu Zukan 3, and Bambi to Dhole 8.

I’d first like to express a handful of thanks for all the staff/people who helped with the chapters. 

Next, I’d like to say that as Pigeon Scans will be finishing most of it’s stories, it will slowly focus on one manga in the end which is Bambi to Dhole as I, ryuujii, am going to focus more on real life. Sadly. HAHAHA, but who knows, maybe we’ll be able to pick up a certain series that I’ve had my eye on since the start of PS. Maybe I’ll be able to balance real life and this. (I’m looking at you Med School) Or maybe PS will end as soon as we’ve finished scanlating Bambi to Dhole. Anywho, what started out as a mere wanting to ~read~ more of Yoshida Motoi’s work has now been something that has brought more titles (Okay, maybe just two and also revived one. XD) scanlated in the interwebs.

Don’t worry, we’re not ending...yet. So wipe those tears away now. (This is me talking to myself.) We might even get to a year or two before PS closes/in a hiatus.

In case this one looks familiar, we’ve decided to pick up Kimi o Matsu --> Akaiito by Tanaka Shiki. This one hasn’t been picked up by anyone and I was so curious as to what happened next that we couldn’t resist not scanlating it and so we decided to pick it up starting from Chapter 4.

Mizu no Iro, Gin no Tsuki Ch. 9 Mediafire || Batoto

This is it. The last chapter of Yoshida-Sensei’s Mizu no Iro, Gin no Tsuki series. The prequel to her Natsu no Zenjitsu.

Although this can be a stand alone as the 2 volumes revolve more on Atou Mori and Friends rather than Natsu’s Aoki-kun. (Aoki and Hanami do have an arc here though.) 

This marks the first completed project of Pigeon Scans and as a joint with One Snowshoe. I hope you guys enjoyed this project as we all did enjoy scanlating this. Because of this project, we have improved on our ~skills~ and we will continue on learning and improving in giving better scanlations.

Please, please don’t forget in supporting Yoshida Motoi’s works by buying her works in your language or if it is available in your country.
