ok but what if… art school!aziraphale and modeling school!crowley
- the specific art school az goes to and the specific modeling school crowley goes to are almost sister schools, but the students absolutely despise one another
- obviously the modeling students come in every once in a while to pose for life drawing classes
- az gets paired up with crowley and the sheer QUEER PANIC that ensues…
- az and crowley become friends
- at one point az is just like: hm… i’m glad i’m an artist…
- and crowley asks him why but he just smiles + says something like: i’ll tell you someday
- and then it’s the big art show
- crowley’s walking around but can’t find az anywhere
- and then crowley sees this massive painting by az… and it’s gorgeous… and it’s a painting of crowley
- and there’s these little words in the painting and crowley has to get really close to the painting to see what the words are
- the words say something romantic and along the lines of “i’m glad i’m an artist because i get an excuse to gaze upon you for hours”
- crowley runs over to someone and is like “hey, d’you know where az is??”
- they’re like “oh, i think i saw him go that way”
- and so crowley goes that way and finds az panicking, sitting in an empty classroom
- az looks up and sees crowley and says, “crowley, i’m so worried, i don’t know if they’re going to like my paintings, what if they hate my paintings?”
- and az just goes on and on and spirals until crowley interrupts him with “listen, screw them, if they don’t like your art, they’re idiots. you don’t need them,”
- and continues with, “but they will, they’ll love your paintings.”
- and then az starts to spiral again and crowley doesn’t know what to do, and so crowley kisses him, and az is incredibly surprised
- of course crowley’s even more surprised than az, because az kisses him back
