…I can’t stop myself from coming up with cool drawing ideas for @quinoa-quilt ‘s castaways au so here’s a weaponsmith arcee who consumed my waking thoughts for ages. They just posted a wonderful blurr design. Who I am also thinking about.

#yeah okay so maybe canonically the vibe is more of a watchmaker or a specialty artisan #but the idea of a sooty buff arcee covered in grime and lit by a powerful forge was too much for me to resist #and I got to try one of clip studio’s online lighting tutorials #and I don’t #hate it? I think?#mostly I dislike tutorials that basically boil down to ‘ok now that you have a perfectly shaded and rendered piece #now we’re going to add minor lighting affects and that’s the tutorial!’#like BRO i already know abt multiply and add glow layer :(#but it pushed me to try something new and I don’t dislike the final showing #one of these days I’m gonna take an oil/gouache painting class and then it’s gonna be over for all y’all #transformers #bread art #tf arcee #arcee
