Canon divergent Au where Gabe’s condition doesn’t worsen after being cataclysmed (his arm and a bit of his chest are affected). After a new threat arises in Paris both he and Nathalie become sort of heroes, but haven’t completely given up their quest either. Nathalie forgives him slowly as they work together with the heroes to fight the new villain (and find a cure for her).

Nothing like drawing some smiles to heal the heart... to then BREAK IT WITH MORE ANGST AND DRAMA (saved for the next comic)
