I would have made more, but I don't have a lot of time :|

I wanted to imitate one of those magazines where the illustrations were hand-painted. Especially this one with an advertising. Would you like to rent a room with such outstanding hospitality?

Adrien joined as a special guest and did the portraits. Wasn't me I swear. All credit goes to Adrien. baby :3

I had a very different movie poster in mind. a more classically styled, but this turned out pretty good :D

If there were a movie, what do you think it would be about? I think it would be a series of flashbacks. An endless journey into the past, where none of the narrators can be trusted, not Nat, not Gabriel, maybe just Adrien?

Trying to go further back and recover every experience, giving it form and time even though it has none. When the forced, abstract idea of something that was and yet wasn’t at the same time becomes a foundation for your present. A foundation full of longing and delusion that is destined to collapse and, in the face of selfishness and stubbornness, take with you all those who gave you the strength you so desperately needed.

Phew, where do I even start? I kept a note about this for a while while ago

To start with... her father, Samuel, would have taken care of her at home and taught her everything he could. He wasn’t very bright academically, but he was a gifted handyman. Her mother, Beatrice, would visit her constantly from college. By the time she was 4, Nathalie would have had a brother, Matthias, and her parents would have gotten married.

Spending more time with her father, she learned to work with mechanics and electronics, becoming his right-hand woman in their small repair and maintenance business. Her mother started working in a chemistry lab, providing a significant income, giving them the opportunity to buy a house in the countryside. Then the years went by, and Nathalie had 3 more siblings. yes, 3 more: Adam, Léa, and Elisabeth. The Ducoeur family business kept growing with Nathalie and her father leading the way.

Well, in here she loved reading but was more drawn to the technical side than to history and archaeology. She now cooks for her siblings, acts as a mentor, and takes on responsibilities. She’s more open about her feelings and decisions. Physically, she isn’t as tall as in the original universe, nor is she as athletically toned. Instead, she has a slightly more robust and muscular build.

As for her relationships, her father was kept on as a go-to contact by the Grasettes whenever a deep fryer broke down. So Nathalie and Gabriel did met when they were young. They became friends...sort of... Nathalie developed a crush on him. But he didn’t fully reciprocate it, yet...

One thing led to another, and who knows... maybe Nat met Emilie? It's possible that Adrien doesn't exist in this version. Nor does Gabriel Agreste, exactly. I don't know... But Sangreste would NOT happen. Since Nathalie now understands what boundaries and self-esteem are. Anyways, here a quick sketch with the gang of Ducoeurs :)

Their interactions are basically like this, and that's all they say...

As you can see he is the last one on the little chart on the top.

The two of them don't usually interact, nor do they have anything to talk about or share. Plus, Eric is a little afraid of him.

He usually calls Gabriel "Mr. Gabriel" most of the time, but he also just calls him "Sir."

It’s not that Gabriel tries to be intimidating, but he doesn’t know how to talk to Eric. They both simply enjoy the peace of their own silence, without interrupting each other.

I'm gonna post the three that I have pending.

The first one is from "What Are The Odds?" Part3 I haven't gotten back to it yet because I'm working on some other little projects first.

The second is the next Heartaches minicomic, the heartbreaking chapter, featuring a 9-year-old Eric.

So, yes, after this comic in the AU Heartaches, the angst will come. More or less...

This is a comic I’d drawn a rough sketch for a while ago. I just finished it recently! And since I’ve been asked to draw these two going at it again...

(Although these anon comments sound suspiciously similar -_-).

First, Nath probably dies a bit sooner because my girl made 2 sentibabies, however I don't think Emilie would go rogue with the Butterfly Miraculous... Like, yes, she loves Emilie with all her heart but she's also smarter than Gabriel (and she also has him to help her deal with her grief).

So... what if... instead... Emilie starts searching for the Guardian! Like, yes, Gabriel did search for a cure for Emilie for years and never found anything, BUT Nathalie did keep everything to herself 'til death, and also Emilie is smarter than Gabriel...

Maybe she uses the Butterfly Miraculous to get his attention (Stoneheart incident) BUT backs down the moment she manages to establish contact with Fu. So Emilie talks with Fu, and tells him that she'll give him the Miraculouses back IF they work together so they can find a cure for Nathalie.

Also, probably Emilie tells Adrien and Eric about the Miraculouses & the senti stuff? Maybe it was one of the conditions Fu and her agreed on 'cause those poor boys DESERVE to know.

Anyways, after learning the truth, the boys WILL help Emilie and Fu to find the cure, they won't take a no for an answer, they wanna help bring her mom back by any method possible. And... so they can help properly, they are given their Miraculouses! That way, Butterfly!Emilie, Chat Noir, and Shepherd Boy go find anything remaining from the old guardians (and they don't have to pay for expensive trips thanks to the Horse Miraculous).

And honestly, so many things could happen. Maybe they find Feast and manage to restore the order like in canon, which leads to Nath being cured! Or they can't... which leads to a villain Emilie! (Maybe Adrien and Eric too??) Idk, I've been rambling too much. Wuv uu

Uhhhhh... wow, you just wrote an entire fanfic right now uhmm...I’m impressed!!! Still, out of everything you said....uhhh..... no?

I'm afraid it doesn't quite play out that way. Haha. You see, in this universe, it's not just a simple role reversal. There's a divergence and a very different motivating factor. Imagine Gabriel with the Miraculous, but with everything turned upside down: his motive, his approach, his plan, and his actions. It's all the exact opposite. But not in the Betterfly/Hesperia way.

This is one of the most unfair and depressing AUs I could come up with (sorry). And right from the start, it’s not Adrien who suffers the most, but Eric (sorry again).

Mmmh.... I’ll give you a spoiler :)

Gabriel chose the path of evil because he wanted to SAVE HIS WORLD a.k.a. the love of his life, Emilie. This villain doesn’t want to save it, but to FIX IT. On a more personal level.

Dear lord...I just got over an artistic block. So... I'm back!! A few little drawings here and there.

Ahhhhhhh yes, sigh... the WIPs dilemma...

Yeah, I’m working on “What Are the Odds?” Part 3, but honestly, I’ve had it sitting there since I drew the first post of Eric… hehe. I have half the pages done btw!! But with this AU, so many ideas keep popping into my head that I want to develop, and it’s really pulling me in and it’s way less work to make those quick comics, and this is more fun and interesting…

Well you see... Eric, my boy, is a great boy.

He sticks close to his mom at all times in case she wants to lean on something or feels weak. He likes to think of himself as her strong and capable bodyguard, whereas I like to compare him to a service pup (you know, parallels with the dog miraculous).

He’s a 10 out of 10 kid. THE PROBLEM is when he teams up with his sidekick and buddy Adrien

So here's the thing... To sum it up. With each passing day, her heart grows a thousandth of a percent more capable of going into a wild frenzy.

But how dangerous is it? Think of it like a battery. Her heart functions perfectly up to a certain point. But the closer it gets to being completely drained, the more dangerous it becomes to use. This cycle is repeated daily.

So, the illness does not slowly destroy the organ in this AU, but it increases the chances of a sudden, complete failure. In short, a cardiac arrest.

The good news is that Nathalie, having a background in military discipline, knows how to control her pulse and breathing, as well as how to live under pressure without letting it affect her body negatively.

The problem? This DUMB IDIOT loves to put into practice ANYTHING that puts her life at risk. Like not sleeping, living on nothing but coffee, and dealing with whatever bullsh*t the Agrestes come up with on a daily basis, etc etc...

Nathalie could get to live much longer than Emilie did!! or she could simply die tomorrow... That’s up to her.

Oh, I almost forgot... what if I told you that Colt didn’t get sick from the Miraculous in this AU?

This is the first time Emilie realizes that something strange is happening to Nathalie. Something Nat isn't going to tell her about.

This happened on one of the camping trips they took every now and then. Usually, Nat uses these trips with Eric to get some fresh air and relieve pressure. But by inviting Emilie, Gabriel and Adrien, she ends up exerting herself more than she should and overworks her heart.

Once home, she says she’ll go to the hospital, but we know it’s all lies so as not to scare the Agrestes.

And what about Eric? Since she and Eric live together (and no, they don’t live with the Agrestes), he’s more observant than he seems, he already knows she’s having problems. He just plays dumb and does everything he can to keep his mom from stressing. All quietly, of course. Because if he offered to help her, she’d just say no. So, he just runs easy errands for her, brings her herbal teas (hides the DAMN coffee) and, obviously, handles his own homework.

Oh you know it!! I couldn't have put it better myself, speaking of which...... I'm cooking something right now, something that might be related to it.
