Imagine Pickett trying to set you up with Newt. At first he would be quite a bit jealous when he first noticed the way Newt would look at you whenever you were in the same room. After you constantly adoring him though, he would come to the conclusion that maybe you wouldn’t be too bad of an addition to his life. He would start jumping out of Newt’s pocket and into yours, forcing Newt to come after him. Whenever Newt and you would talk and one of you was about to leave, Pickett would suddenly get “very sick” and of course he would absolutely need both of you to take care of him.

She smiled and gave him a small kiss. “Alright. I was just going to make dinner. I’m sure that’s not as exciting as-” She frowned slightly, unable to make out what Newt was doing. “-whatever mum is doing.”

His eyes widened. Does dinner include unwanted fairy eggs? He climbed on top of her head and held onto her hair gently. He was determined to find out what dinner was going to be (it was more interesting than mum paying attention to other creatures that weren’t him).
