 Hey. Sure, ill answer them the best I can. 1. There is a bit of me that is still self conscious, and I battle that in my head sometimes, but no where near as much as it used to. I think thats come down to spending more time out in gear, so its become habit now. Sometimes those judgemental must be in my head, other times they are real and its a reminder how far I’ve come. I’ve come to realise if I’m being judged for looking like a chav, then im on the right path as that was the goal wasn’t it. With that comes accepting that you’re transforming yourself to match a group of people that are often judged, so I’ve got to learn to take the stuff that comes with that. 2. Most of my friends are kinky fuckers and have never really judged me harshly, I’ve always been known to be into sneakers/socks to them. Occasionally I get a comment about looking more like a chav, but form them I know its meant in jest. Family was way more scary to deal with. I started by just wearing my TNs around them, then hoodies, then trackies. So I built it over time. There were a few comments again, but now it seems no-one cares. 3. I think I should have been clearer with my voice comment. I don’t think I’ll ever loose my southern accent, I actually quite like it, but I never swear or the like. So I wanted to change that a bit to fit more with the transformation.
