Hi, I'm not sure if you'll see this but I was wondering if you watched any videos or referenced any books when you started out embroidering and how you improved from then on. I would love to know as I've been embroidering for awhile but would love to embroider like you one day. Thank you for taking the time to read and respond :)
my personal favourite embroidery book is the embroidery stitch bible by Betty Barnden, it has really good clear photographs and diagrams of hundreds of stitches. i don’t have any particular videos i watched but it i can’t understand a stitch just from diagrams i just do a general youtube search to see the exact method in motion. i know it sounds silly and annoying but practice makes perfect; and as i am a bit of perfectionist i do find myself unpicking and redoing a fair amount of stitches, lots of the pieces on my account were worked on over a long period of time with lots of do-overs in certain places. i hope this was helpful and made sense, it was really nice to receive this message and know that people like what i make. feel free to message me off anon and ask anything else you might like to know! :)
