I could've posted these individually but i really wanted to group them all together, which might not have been a good choice... Oh well- at least it's over now.

They're super common here as i life in a small woodland area far from the city and my home is pretty much a micro-forest (the backyard is thrice as big as the house itself, there's trees and tall grass all around it and many creatures such as A LOT of chameleons, birds, and insects of all types, some frogs, we saw a squirrel here once, etc. Other animals spotted in the neighborhood include foxes, maned wolves and tamarin monkeys).

Anyways, going back to the snake, it was a baby jararaca, which coils and springs up to bite you, and a bite is a serious medical emergency, possibly lethal.

I was raking up mowed grass when it fell off a leave i was raking; When i saw it coilling (preparing to attack), my dumbass thought it was trying to get back to sleep. Regardless, i just dropped what i was doing and started jumping and running towards my home (i assume it got confused that this lanky target was going all over the place, because it didn't move at all).

When i got home (5sec run) i told my dad in a calm, unworried, monotone voice: "Hey dad, i found a snake." then pointed him towards its direction (the backyard is a downwards slope and it was at the bottom), he grabbed a gardening hoe and followed me there. We had this exchange as we got there:

"THAT is a jararaca."

"Is it venomous?"

"Very."

"Okay."

Then he instantly decapitated it in a single swoop. "Damn, poor thing" i said (i don't have it in my heart to kill a animal myself, not even when it's trying to kill me), "You could have died.", he replied. I just said "Oh." with zero emotion.

He left the gardening hoe next to me in case i found more, and then went back to the house. I just went back to raking up leaves like normal, unfazed. My dad actually sounded slightly concerned while i kept my normal, monotone composure the whole encounter through (okay you guys don't know what i sound like but to give an idea i'm super nonchalant like 90% of the time, i'm more emotive writing on here than i am irl).

I just didn't rake near where i found the snake as there could very well be a den living there - wouldn't even be surprising either; My neighbors also go through similar things, it's a extremely common local occurrence (scorpions are a concern too).

Anyways, if i ever go more than a year without posting anything, most likely what happened was that the snakes in my backyard did a sucessful hit 'n' slither and slimed me out.

I actually screwed up posting this on the exact day but that's to be expected considering i usually post once every 7-8 days now, heh- Instead i posted it on the Dsaf series 10 year annniversary! (I swear i didn't know the date, talk about a coincidence)!

This particular piece is something that i'm very fond of, it was when i realized i was capable of making something that actually looks fairly decent, and look at where we are now!

There's someone i want to thank for this - it's YOU, the audience - for sticking with me this far!

Just you know that i do appreciate you for being here - regardless of if you were there from the beginning or if this is the first time you're seeing me - I'm just happy someone out there may enjoy my stuff just as i do!

A lot did change in that time frame (and will continue to in the future) and looking back feels so special, part of the fun is watching how much you've grown since then!

He meets her at a location Jack doesn't work at and Vanessa acts as his lackey (not even as Old Sport's replacement, she's below that; he'd leave the more annoying/dangerous tasks to her, not caring if she gets hurt or dies). He doesn't trust her at all and keeps her around solely so that he has someone to frame for if his plans go wrong.

I feel like he'd slowly warm up to her as time goes on (not on a romantic way, thought about it for bit but nah, i like it more as if they had a sibling-like dynamic instead and he saw her as his bitchass little sister he's forced to bring along. This also adds Vanessa/Dee parallels, which i really like since the longer i think about it i realize they have surprisingly a lot in common).

Obviously Jack still means WAY more to him but watching him go from treating her like a disposable lackey, to an apprentice, to acknowledging her as a "Kiddie Strangler V3" would be neat.

The first one went full batshit insanity towards the end (tragic yaoi into dbz fight scene finishing off with the whole restaurant exploding, everyone dies THE END) while arc 2 was a lot more laid-back and Gerald had a twist in it (that wasn't planned but it made too much sense from a narrative standpoint there so i went with it):

He's Vanessa's dad, super cheesy i know and i cringed a bit when i revisited it for this, but it was a neat explanation:

Vanny there was a (unintentionally) dangerous dumbass that actively put everyone near her in danger, Gerry notices this but keeps her around because he's not gonna kick his daughter (or what remains of her) out, specially since he already lost her once already.

I rarely bring this kind old man out nowadays but i'll never forget how i created him on accident then turned him from a joke to a fleshed out character. As for the blog as a whole... I'm not fond about it, it had a few stand out moments but overall it was mid.

Y'know, as much as i want to hate on the blog due to how negative i grew towards it, i can't help but simultaneously appreciate it since it was one of my earlier projects and in a way led to me getting where i am currently. Besides, not everyone thinks that, someone may still find enjoyment out of it and i shouldn't go "This SUCKS and you should feel ashamed for liking it", that's just rude for no reason.

...Anyways, turns out he works really well in the Frickbear's artstyle - just had to make his colors pop out more and slapped the slutty John Arbuckle eyes Vanessa has and called it a day.

The models are really flat tho, ported them over to Blender (preference reasons, also 'cause i knew a solution on Blender while idk how Cinema4D works), increased the width of the meshes a decent amount and it turned out like this:

Side note: I also don't know how to use Blender either... Like, at all. Sorry for the boring default pose

Leaning more on her being full delulu, whenever one of her personalities takes over the other one stays in the back of her head as a voice and talks to the currently active one (mostly trying to take control, they can't fully repress the other one though).
