Michael Emerson

“In more ways than one…” he mutters, but the words are ever so slightly shaken from the puncture wounds in his lip.

And also from his blood on on David’s mouth.

God, it’s fucking hot.

He wants David to look at him with Michael’s blood all over the vampire.

He wants David to ruin him. Sexually, romantically, violently, he doesn’t care. But he’s not gonna let the vampire get that so easily.

He wipes the back of his hand across his lip, his blood smearing across his pale skin.

“You don’t actually know that you, do you?” He challenges. “What, you taste my blood once and you decide it’s enough for you? Y’know, I’m surprised you lasted this long before feeding from me. Don’t think I’m blind to the bite marks on Marko and the others. I know you get hungry for your…pets…fairly often.”

His voice enters a lower tone. The blood from his lip is dripping down along his jaw to his neck. Like it’s the bullseye of a target.

“How come you’re so soft around me, David? You think just because I haven’t fed yet I’m too fragile? Do you really think I can’t take your bullshit? I know what I signed up for.”

And then he does something risky.

David may be a vampire, but Michael still has strength beyond the typical young adult man.

His core and shoulder muscles are engaged as he shoves David off him, whips around, and switches their positions. Now David’s back is to the wall, with Michael’s hands tightly gripping his shoulders, holding him against it.

𝖂hen Michael tried to go on and wipe away the blood from his lip and onto his hand, David couldn’t resist himself.

He grabbed the brunette’s wrist to stop him.

And then he licked the blood off the boy himself.

Letting go with satisfaction etched all over his face. “There…All cleaned up.”

“Mmm!” David continued running his mouth away. “Can’t get enough, Michael…Better than any other drug out there, isn’t it?”

But, all his eyes could ever focus on was the blood dripping down the brunette’s face…now onto his neck.

“Here…Let me do the neck next-” The vampire stopped his little taunting at Michael’s challenge. “Not that I think you can’t take it…Gentler with Star too. Aw, not all the way yet-” He condescends. “Oh, got too big a heart for it…Know your limits…What you like.” By now him and Marko had drank from each other before, knew what it was like-

Eyes were still darting back and forth between the blood and Michael’s face…a growing desire and need to pounce. “Just get a little…hungry sometimes. Need a quick fill. Ever fed on a lover before? Right…Already know the answer to that-”

When Michael switched their positions, David groaned the second his back hit that wall. “What do you think you’re doing Michael?” He hissed, this had never happened to him before, not with Michael or anyone else.

“Looks like I taught you more than just how to submit to me.” The blonde was not taking it seriously at all, like Michael was just a puppy trying to nip at his ankles.

“Really think you got what it takes to top me…at this?”

David didn’t hold back anymore, pushing Michael off and grabbing the boy by his neck. “Didn’t want to have to do this, but I will!”

He tackles the mortal onto the ground, not bothering to be gentle about it, him on top, pinning Michael there on bottom…trapped-if he didn’t have any fight left in him. “Ah, much better!” He taunted before doing as he said he would-licking that stripe off his bleeding chin all the way down to his neck.

They both knew he didn’t lick his way down ‘cause it was easy. After a pause, just long enough to maybe trick Michael into thinking he wasn’t gonna, he bit into that sensitive skin there.

It hurts like hell, but he loves it. The feeling of fangs carving into his neck, of the skin breaking and his blood pooling from the puncture wounds. The way that David is savoring him, feeding from him, it’s as physically rewarding as it is emotionally.

It’s the fact that David’s so deeply invested in Michael’s blood, Michael’s body, Michael’s soul to keep. It’s too perfect. David is claiming ownership of every single part of Michael Emerson, and not just because it’s what Michael desires.

David wants to own him. Bad. Michael knows that.

This is simply him marking his possession.

Michael feels lightheaded, but not in a bad way. He feels light and airy as blood leaves his body and is (admittedly very loudly) consumed by his sire, his master, his lover.

Michael doesn’t mind being a meal if it’s like this.

He doesn’t know how long it’s been. He’s lost in the sensation, in the adrenaline and arousal filling his entire body. He just knows at some point, David is hovering over him, legs still straddling Michael’s hips.

And the vampire has Michael’s blood adorning his face and fangs and hands and claws like it’s a prized possession.

He thinks David has never looked hotter.

And he also thinks he’s done rebelling.

David won. He always does, everyone knows David would never let Michael win at anything.

“You win,” he says out loud, breathy, but pleased.

And honestly? He’s okay with that, because when David claims his ‘prize’ for winning, it usually means good things for the others involved.

Unless he’s still pissed at Michael and thinks he still needs to be punished.

Which…Michael’s not entirely opposed to anyway.

Michael leans his head back against the ground and closes his eyes. He knows whatever comes next will likely be just as…aggressive, as before, if not more. So he’s taking a moment to catch his breath.

M’ cold

Sometimes, Michael tries to pretend that he’s cool and doesn’t need his mom to be a shoulder to cry on when he’s losing it.

Today is not that day.

Because he’s losing it in a way that only Lucy Emerson can fix.

So Michael bounds forward and throws himself into his mother’s arms, the sobs from his throat loud and shaky.

“You promise…?”

He sits down on his bed and gently pulls his mom with him, arms still tight around her.

“I cried so much, but you told me crying was a superpower,” he goes on, almost a whimper. “Something like…crying is your body being strong. A sign of emotional strength or something. You told me that crying meant my body was working correctly. And that I shouldn’t feel weak for doing it, even if Dad said otherwise.”

He pauses and looks down at the floor. He wishes he were a kid again and life were simpler. If he knew who he was.

𝕾uddenly a nearby light went off all on its own.

“Didn’t hear anything at all, Michael…” David whistled again. “Did you?”

“Say it again for me….”

“C’mon! Gimme all the love you got inside! No shame in admitting it…That you love me.”

Two familiar clawed fingers started walking across the boy’s shoulder…Behind his neck…And to the other…At the end of the trail one of those fingers tapped on his shoulder, scratching down his arm in the dark…Still whistling away like nothing happened. Didn’t sound like the noise was getting any farther away from the brunette either-

When the light came back on, those same two arms came up and grabbed Michael from behind, pulling him against the blonde’s body and keeping him there. David rested his head on Michael’s shoulder, looking at him like a cat who found his favorite little mouse all on his own.

“Ah, there you are, boy…” He grinned. “Found ya.”

Maybe in a sense of challenge, too.

“Not for long.”

Michael throws David’s arms off of him and sprints. He knows the vampire can’t deny a good chase, and Michael loves the adrenaline of running with his ‘life’ on a risk.

He dives under tree branches and bends around towards the thick Santa Carla redwoods. He doesn’t know if David’s behind him yet, but he’ll catch up at some point.

Catch me if you can, bitch, he says in his mind, knowing full well through whatever weird vampiric telepathy they have that David can hear him.

He finds a divot in the ground underneath a fallen tree and a boulder to catch his breath. He can hide for a minute and then start running again.

He can’t help but savor the feeling of being chased as much as possible.

“𝕬gh!” David let out a frustrated groan when Michael tried to get away from him…Thought for once by taking him from behind it might’ve been easy. Never was with Michael…Easy. Couldn’t say he wasn’t excited to chase though. The brunette always knew how to give ‘em a challenge. Didn’t really like it when things got too easy on him.

For a long time, there’s no noise around to hear but Michael. A little strange wasn’t it? David always the cocky type-never too far behind the boy of his…affections…

Just a gentle breeze in the air…No footsteps, the blonde wore clunky enough boots tonight there should’ve been footsteps if he was walking…But, there wasn’t.

Then a familiar, unmistakable whistle filled the air with its song. Pretty…Light…Dangerous. Never heard it for no reason, meant David had a trick of some kind up his sleeve.

Slowly another sound followed it up: scratching on the nearby trees-long and ear-splitting, and they were getting closer with every swipe on the bark.

Finally it all stopped. No more noise. Nothing but the wind in its wake. Things were looking up for Michael…

…

If he’d notice what was already floating just barely out of view for him, head tilted like a broken doll watching…and waiting for his favorite boy to notice he’s there on his own. Savoring it like Michael in this moment was better than any blood he’s ever had.

David, ever the sadist, can’t help himself from trying to scare Michael as much as possible in situations like these. And Michael can’t deny he thrives in the heart-racing anticipation. The same way people love going to haunted houses with scare actors. Michael supposes he likes the sensation of being scared…especially knowing what’ll happen if he’s caught.

He hears claws scratching down the trees, like David’s claw just was on his arm. He craves that feeling again.

The forest around him falls dead silent, still like a wax museum at night. He knows David is probably searching for him. Not very successfully, he seems. Odd. Figured the vampire would’ve been able to smell him, heightened senses and all.

He’s feeling a little cocky himself. So he’s gonna taunt David a little more.

What’s up with you? Are you taking it easy on me again or did you suddenly forget how to hunt?

His breath is a little louder, like a breathy laugh.
