Long story short, bought game, can’t figure out why I can’t play on Linux, triggered an “Anti-Temper” error from switching proton versions every nanosecond (probably), can’t play it windows due to said restriction, pray that I can play after restriction expires (major copium)

Apparently, I didn’t frickin read the warning while booting the game on Linux regarding my GPU after half an hour figuring out why I can’t play. Windows works fine bc of the drivers already updated (probably) and of course silly lil’ me thought it would carry over to Linux. I can play Hogwarts Legacy just fine on both OSs but for some reason MHS3 is a wee bit much. Shame that it didn’t work straight out of the box mostly because of me as I forgot that I played the demo on the Windows OS not Linux. No wonder it doesn’t work.
