my favorite f/m ships are the ones where the dude is pretty much there just to gaze at the girl with heart eyes and fawn over her
stop using romanov as natasha’s last name. according to russian grammar, she’s a female, so her last name would be romanova. either call her natasha romanoff or natasha romanova, if you insist on using her russian name. romanov is grammatically incorrect. like, it’s just wrong in terms of the russian language.
If you wonder why, it’s because of declension. I am not very familliar with russian language, but my native language is czech and they are both slavic languages and similar in some aspects. In czech, every female last name ends with “ová”. Nováková, Jarošová, Ulrychová, Vondráčková, Svobodová, etc.
It’s because in czech, the ending of the word carries the meaning. “I was talking about miss Romanova” would be translated as “Mluvila jsem o slečně Romanové”. The ending changes, as you see.
Word “Romanov” isn’t wrong by itself, it’s just the male version of her name. There could be guy called Ivan Romanov. But since Natasha is a woman, you should use female version of the name, e.g. Romanova. Or the english trancription of her name, Romanoff.

"Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go punch a dinosaur."
we’ve taught girls to romanticise nearly everything a boy does. when i was younger i thought it was cute that boys chased the girl even after she said no. i loved it when after a girl moved away from a kiss, the guy would pull her back and force it on. i thought a guy saying ‘i won’t take a no for an answer’ was passionate and romantic. we’re literally always teaching girls to romanticise abusive traits.
