Adam Norris imagine I'm going to be looking at you in the eyes when I say this: if it wasn't for the second place the first place would not exist, some times are the second places that are remembered more than the first. We all remember Lewis '16 and '21 second place, Niki '76, Prost '88 and '90, and Senna '89, we maybe remember them better than the first place. Even going out of F1 when talking about 2015 in MotoGP you remember Marc and Valentino, second and third, better then Lorenzo. What is memorable is not who places where but the emotions and impact that the person gave to arrive there, and it's a real shame that you can't understand that.

Thinking that "only the first will be remembered" is harmful not only for the others but it harms your son directly, the same son we have heard so many times has "fragile mental health", what will that do to his mentality? Now that he know that his father, one of the people from which he seeks validation, think that only first places are worthy of being remembered? Will it make him stronger or will it make him crumble under the pressure? We will see, but for someone advocating for mental health a declaration like that is concerning.
