☂︎ Notes: I feel so bad for Haydeé. She’s presented from such a fetishised lens (not surprising considering the time period, but disappointing nonetheless). The way he disregards (and often threatens) his servants is the most repulsive thing about Dantès to be honest. Especially considering he clearly views himself as repressed and on the fringes of society.

☂︎ Notes: No way!!! Monsieur de Villefort and Madame Danglars are Bendetto’s parents? The same Bendetto who is now Andrea Cavalcanti and in league with Caderousse??? What a crossover! I can’t wait for when Mercédès openly recognises Edmond…

☂︎ Notes: Edmond is so devious and spooky. I adore his flare for the dramatic. However, if he drags Valentine into his feud with de Villefort, I will be so upset. Hopefully his want to see Maximilien happy will override his desire to punish de Villefort
