The three most infamous Nicktoon duos have strained their friendships and found love! Or did they?
Slithers Family: Howie x Craig (separated by Howie's death), Craig x Alfe (his second husband, healthy)
Craig is a dragon in this AU, but dragons are feared by most of the inhabitants of Lundgren, Craig's home. For weeks he was the run from Noodman, who had become even more aggressive since his Lady Butterscotch got paralyzed. Craig hadn't seen Sanjay in person since then and feels guilty for leaving without even saying goodbye. He stayed with Howie, who he fell in love with... But eventually, Howie was killed by one of his craziest stunts. Not only was Craig distraught losing the man he loved, his worry for Sanjay increased as he remembered he was a stuntman too, overall the poor dragon was traumatized. Eventually he met Alfe and he eventually healed a long while after falling in love with him. Craig still misses his best friend and younger brother, and hopes to return to him one day.
Bersukovich Family: Boog x Buhdeuce (toxic), Buhdeuce x Lenny (strained), Boog x Lenny (strained)
Buhdeuce needed a break from being a Breadwinner, SwaySway was sad about it but allowed it when he saw how stressed Buhdeuce was. Buhdeuce worked at the Frosty Mart and his polyamorous romance with Boog and Lenny took off (in the beginning). The three began arguing, especially Buhdeuce with Boog. Buhdeuce is almost ready to tell his husbands he's tired of how he's being treated by Boog and he feels like he's making things worse between him and Lenny as well.
Breadwinner Family: SwaySway x Pickle (one date), Pickle x SwaySway (strained)
Peanut was jealous when he found out Pickle and SwaySway dated, so in order to get closer to Pickle, he started hanging out with SwaySway. But as time went on, Peanut started to move on and get genuinely closer to Sway, they even fell in love, however, not too much time had passed, Peanut started pining Pickle again. He kept telling himself Pickle just wanted to be friends and he belonged with SwaySway. He does think SwaySway is catching onto his doubts though. As for SwaySway, he misses Buhdeuce a lot, the reason he no longer is after Jenny is because he finally accepted she doesn't love him, especially since thinks his obsession with her is part of the reason Buhdeuce became distant. Whenever he sees Buhdeuce again, he carefully tries to apologize, but Buhdeuce makes it clear he forgives Sway, he just has to deal with his own problems at the moment, but he quickly shuts down every idea SwaySway has to help, telling him "I got into this mess, it's my job to face it", it's not due to any resentment towards SwaySway as he already moved past that, but SwaySway feels like it is, or at the very least, Buhdeuce wouldn't be in a life he hates if SwaySway made him feel safer at home.
Chummery Family: Chum Chum x Meg x Yo (strained) Chum Chum feels like Fanboy has become more bitter towards him. He found comfort with Yo, the girl who was formerly obsessed with him. No, she still liked him, a lot, she just finally realized she couldn't force him to love her. But he had another girl in his life, one named Meg, who became another good friend to him. Eventually, both asked him to marry him, at the same time. Chum Chum not only didn't want to disappoint either of them and cause tension, but he wanted something new in his life. So he accepted both. His wives got along fine with each other, but all three feel like the spark they had in the past wasn't as bright as it used to be...
Cranapple Family: Fanboy x Megan (divorced, on okay terms), Fanboy x Hector (healthy)
Megan felt lost that Craig was gone and Sanjay not only found the love of his life that wasn't her, but also due to the fact she felt the person he chose wasn't compatible with him at all. Fanboy felt horrible for driving Chum Chum away after quite a few arguments with him, he decided to leave Galaxy Hills and go to Lundgren, he did not get along with many as they feared changelings even more than dragons, so he transformed, easy fix. Only two saw through his disguise, Megan and Hector, but they were nice so they were able to keep his secret safe. Fanboy was glad to have not one, but two new friends, but he still longed for Chum Chum. Megan and Fanboy had realized something about their romance, some time after they were engaged. They didn't love each other, they were just good friends who were lonely, so they had a long talk and the wedding was called off. They don't hate each other, but things are awkward between them whenever they interact. Luckily, Fanboy taking it slow and searching his feelings eventually got him into a happy relationship with Hector.
Patel Family: Sanjay x Tyson (toxic)
After losing Craig, Sanjay had gone to rock bottom, his remaining friends and family could do nothing. He hated Noodman, he detested him. Sanjay may have wronged him before, but that was no excuse for that awful man driving his best friend away. But he was too distraught to get any kind of revenge. He visited the Frycade and he was consoled by Belle. He decided that life was too short and it was now or never. He confessed his deep feelings for her. Belle was about to give him her answer, but then Tyson barged in and told Belle he felt the same except "stronger" and that he would be a better lover than Sanjay. Belle ended up rejecting them both, she only ever saw Sanjay as a friend, and she had lost respect for Tyson and told him she would never date him unless he changed his ways a lot. Sanjay and Tyson were both heartbroken, then they looked at each other, Sanjay didn't rub it in this time, he went to comfort one of his biggest enemies. Tyson was more grateful than he had ever been towards almost anyone... Too bad that didn't stick forever. Tyson had gone back to his old ways and his insults towards Sanjay went from mild, to just as bad as before, to worse. The only reason Sanjay stayed was because he felt his three best friends had permanently moved on due to their marriages, and he should move on too.
