"The lion and the Gazelle" From the prospective of the lion he/she feels that if he doesn't eat the gazelle he and his pride/family may starve, so the gazelle is immoral for running because it should know that the lion needs to catch it and eat it to survive. The gazelle on the other hand thinks the lion is immoral, barbaric even for chasing he and his family every day and eating them. The lion chases to survive. The gazelle runs to survive. Neither is wrong in doing what they feel they have to do to survive. Survival is at the core of each and every being on this planet. It is the prime objective of your brain. The environment in which you grow up in determines what your brain has defined as survival and what it needs to do in order to increase the probability of such survival. So to expect the lion to understand the gazelle, or the gazelle to understand the lion would be inherently foolish. The same can be said for black people expecting white people to understand their issues in this country and the world. Neither side is wrong for their lack of understanding of the others plight. The lack of understanding does not make you racist; it is the absence of civility, compassion, respect and acceptance that does make a racist. I know this will not be a popular post, but who cares. I grow tired of hearing and seeing people say "Pray for ______." There isn't anything wrong with prayer 🙏 but if you do nothing after you get up off your knees, you may has well kept your prayers. I've heard people say prayer changes and fixes everything, but let me remind you all of a scripture; James 2:14 "What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith obut does not have works?
