You know what I wish we'd seen from VLD, being a series about war? More funeral rites. It's such a lovely little way of getting some quick and beautiful worldbuilding. Imagine Allura and Coran holding a funeral for their people and their planet and their loved ones. Seeing how Galra honour those who fell in battle (both their own and their prisoners, given combat is supposed to be important to them) and the funeral of Zarkon, their greatest emporer (both the first time and the second time). Or how the Blades of Marmora mourned their fallen, at leat in someway, to show how it's different or similar to the empire.
