　⟢　　This is a mix of a role-swap and a complete retake on the main trajectory of the PHIGHTING! storyline whereas I explore the characterization of the cast in a different scenario than what there is in base canon. Many characters have been changed or switched around to fulfill differing roles. Many of importance being; Subspace Tripmine, Banhammer, or Sword.

　⟢　　All these characters are not meant to represent their canonical personalities or stories, and thus, anything that happens in its canon counterpart — does not happen here. Rather, this is a complete rewriting of the narrative with a silly spin on it, simply just with these characters!

"By the time you all read this, I assure you I'm already long gone. I was given an offering by an anonymous messenger, but I'm sure you know who. Or, at least two of you, that is. I'm sorry, but I cannot sit around and allow you all to help the people who wanted my head on a pike. You don't know the reality of the people who seek your hand in support even when I've attempted to have you see it from my way.

I don't know what side you think you're on, but if you really cared, then you would've been on mine. Your ignorance alone was enough to speak your choices. I want to be someone strong enough, someone respectable enough, for you to believe in. So, I want you to watch these coming days closely. I want to show you just how worthy I am."

Vinestaff is a rare, naturally spawning support gear Inphernal with her origins tracing back to the Thieves' Den Spawn Pillar. She is a former serial-killer turned pacifist after setting herself on the path for redemption to atone for her sins. She resides in one of the many safe zones (specifically clans) scattered within the nation located in the giant, towering trees that grow in the lands of Thieves' Den. She had been cursed by a Karmic Deity as a consequence for the corruption of which tainted her, doomed to join amongst the standing trees of the land if she ever dared to kill again. Her curse behaves in a matter of slowly solidifying affected limbs into wooden branches, however she is able to slow down this process through amputation so long as it does not reach her horns. Yet, due to this, she can no longer fight how she used to, and thus is forced to remain passively due to the lingering risk that attempting to fight may take so much strength to where it may allow her curse to eat and spread across her form entirely. She is often found with Shuriken, who she had met after seeking refuge in a humble society located within a smaller outer-section of Thieves' den nearing Crossroads. They've grown to have a familial bond and Shuriken often is rarely seen without her by his side. This society is run and supervised by the Lotus Clan, housing; Shuriken, Katana, Slingshot, and now Vinestaff.

Sword is an factionless Inphernal residing in a residence with his best friend, Rocket, and his family: Zuka and Subspace in the plain lands of rural Crossroads.  Sword, unlike other Inphernals, did not spawn naturally through a spawn pillar nor was he spawned through the practices of Connections.  Instead, Sword was created from a branch stemmed by the higher deities.  Sword is related to the Swords of the Heights, though he is not their kin directly.  His origin is deeply rooted into an ancient branch that is: The Periastron Swords who were wiped from the plane of existence due to their beholding power from their divine gears. Sword serves as the direct reincarnation of the first sword “Azure Periastron Alpha”.  The Azure Periastron Alpha is foretold to be the first of its kind, possessing difficult-to-catch speeds and unfathomable gear energy used to ensure the order and balance to all.  The legends of this Inphernal go down in the histories of the Inphernus itself. However, at present time, Sword is currently training under the supervision of both Subspace and Zuka.  Although, he receives more expertise from Subspace than Zuka due to the similarities between their gears.  By most of those who know him, Sword is described as hyperactive, cheery, and outgoing.  A chirping social butterfly despite the scars he bears and the weight he carries. It shall be noted that his empathy is his strongest trait, but also his greatest weakness.  Due to this, he gets staggered when faced with taking a life and often struggles to make the correct call.  To live in the world of Inphernus: you must learn the first lesson that to fight in this world is to take.  You are not fighting to drive others away.  You are fighting for your life and your right to live it, even if it means taking the life of another. 

Guitar is a naturally spawning gear Inphernal with his origins tracing back to the Playground Spawn Pillar.  He serves in Playground as a means for entertainment as a Harmonious Skies solo idol whose music genre primarily specializes in thrash metal.  He was a fairly prominent figure due to touring consistently between Playground, Crossroads, and other smaller regions.  Guitar was respected by many that cater towards his genre of music. Early into the year of 3088, Guitar failed to show up to one of his most highly anticipated shows and was later mysteriously reported as missing.  Guitar was stated to have never been 'found' in the vast news of the major nations of Playground and Crossroads. During the time he vanished, Guitar was subjected to a kidnapping performed by assailant members of Blackrock's E.O.T. division where he was later taken as subject to the Angel of Death's L.I.E. (Live Inphernal Experimentation) procedure.  Guitar, along with a handful of other Inphernals, undergo severe physical and psychological torment through the form of bodily mutation as a major symptom of Blackrock's Divine Ailment. Later in that same year, once the first (sacrificial) subject had been reported to be successful, Guitar was then admitted to endure similar mutation processes.  However, this experiment had been cut short due to the Western Border Breach of 3088, leaving him partially mutated and possessing several unusual features due to a forced manifestation of a second biological gear.  In present time, he currently resides in the far outskirts of Crossroads alongside Blackrock Researcher, Artemis Bow.

Subspace is a naturally spawning gear Inphernal with his origins tracing to the South of the two Blackrock Spawn Pillars. He was formerly a high-ranking soldier, serving as a general commander belonging to the Blackrock military. Additionally, he served as an assassin and often partook in missions in executing Blackrock targets out of the region. His work specializes in swift, yet destructive mannerisms whereas he prioritizes lethal damage over any other factor. However, this typically ends with dire wounds and injuries due to the reckless nature. His abilities, however, specializes in erosion and explosions which is demonstrated through his exploding daggers. Despite his interests mainly being honed to close-ranged combat, he expresses curiosity in engineering as well. Alongside Medkit, he had also aided the latter upon the discussions of his weapons and equipment for battle. Notably, one of which is the gear: Ghostfire Throwing Daggers. Whereas Subspace often uses and combines the capabilities of both the Ghostfire Throwing Daggers and Subspace Tripmine together in battle. Within his time at Blackrock, he served as a loyal soldier and a formidable foe to those who dared to cross their region. It is rumored within the nation that his kill-count reaches over five hundred, however when asked, Subspace appears to give varying answers. Prior to his disappearance, he was often seen with the government’s valued doctor, Medkit. He served as a bodyguard appointed by Medkit himself as a layer of protection. Subspace dons the crystal of destruction and many of these items were given by Medkit for enhancement in battle. Though, despite no longer having a stable resource of these crystals after defecting, he had stolen a few with him before he had departed from the region.

Medkit is a rare, naturally spawned healing gear Inphernal with his origins tracing to North of the two Blackrock Spawn Pillars. As of the Blackrock versus Playground War arc, Medkit serves as the head general of the machinery and medical divisions. He, however, later joins the administration council; accompanied by the four other Pillars of the nation. His abilities specialize in mending devastating wounds and injuries through the form of rapid cell regeneration. This trait is then passed onto Alpha models of Medgrafts where these inventions tend to, or repair, the wounds of others with the usage of the mending Crystal of Prosperity. Though, in contrast, this is not included in Biograft model strands whereas their crystals are instead replaced by the Crystal of Destruction. Prior to the former Blackrock commander, Subspace Tripmine's presumed death, he was often seen with the soldier constantly. Before his death, Subspace served as a bodyguard appointed by Medkit himself as a layer of protection. Medkit possesses both the crystals of Prosperity and Destruction on his person at all times. Many of these crystals are stored within his possession. Although Subspace wields a fair amount as well due to working with Medkit closely in the past before his presumed death. Despite developing deadly, acidic poison and donning the crystal used to create such a substance, he does not actively use his poison and prefers to rely himself on his ranged training.
