Spoiler alert: I cried. And I still am.

And because I'm still "high" from the Haikyuu movie, I will discuss my opinion and some things I noticed.

disclaimer: contains some (minor?) spoilers.

Firstly, let me just say that the sound effect is phenomenal. It feels like we are on the actual court while watching. Especially the spike sound of Asahi! So cool! And the cheering of the crowd is so hype (honestly, i don't know if some cheers are from the movie or from the viewers). Of course the actual music is magnificent as always, especially the "Orange" by SPYAIR in the end (where I cried the most).

Second, the animation is truly a movie quality. I love love love the long rallies animation (mainly the 1st rally of the game). And can I just say? I love love the animation of Kuroo laughing (my heart cannot handle it). I also love the additional scenes in the movie (the Kuroo pov on the 1st part of the movie 🥺).

Although, just kinda sad that there are panels/scenes in the manga that didn't make it in the movie (as expected); especially the backstory of Ukai Sr. and Nekomata sensei (for me, their story is the backbone of the "battle of the garbage dump" thus really hoped they included this); the other one is the 1st meeting of Kuroo and Kenma and the mention of Kuroo being an absolute introvert. Also, I kinda wish that they extended the tsukiyama scene (the "he's someone who is always ahead of me" and also the "...truly thanks to you, it is fun once in a blue moon" with Kuroo), I really just love those parts in the manga and always imagining how will they handle it on the anime adaptation. (There are mostly other panels that didn't make in the movie that I forgotten as I read the manga years ago 😂). But due to these, I don't care what anyone will say, I am truly hoping that they will also release a full season of this battle (of course with the complete adaptation of the match from the manga, not just breaking the parts of the movie).

The other thing that I noticed is the different approach of some scenes from the manga; most specifically the Kenma pov on the last part of the game. I'm truly looking forward to the anime version of kenma's shouting facial expression (and nekoma's reaction 😂) and the full court parallel of karasuno vs nekoma in practice match and national match, kinda sad that they didn't show it. But don't get me wrong, I love what they did in the movie! it is truly a new experience as a manga reader and that is also why it is called an 'anime adaptation', they can go to a different approach as long as it as wonderfully done and the message of the story/scene is still there. I'm thankful that we are able to experience a two different point of view of the story.

Nevertheless, it is an amazing movie that I really want to watch again with my friends. It is also really enjoyable to experience to watch this movie in theaters with the people that is also passionate in the story (we are all cheering throughout the battle, definitely a core memory for me).

I'm hoping that all Haikyuu fans can be able to watch this in the cinema.

let me talk about the latest chapter of this manga..

Firstly, I still can't get over that Chiro is a lefty 😅

Sooo we found out that Chihiro knew the different powers and weakness of the enchanted blades (which definitely taught by his father) that gives an advantage to Chihiro.

Then, this guy, Sojo, really told Chihiro the purpose of the enchanted blades. Like sir, the creator of those blades literally told Chihiro the purpose of it (not that he knew it of course) but still..

you tell him Chihiro!

I always wonder if Anya will ever gonna get a grandparents (since this story is all about found family), and this chapter pretty much answer my question 🥰

I really hope Mr. & Mrs. Authen will be part of their family.

Maybe they can watch over Anya when Yor & Loid have a mission (and when Franky is not available 😂). Or Anya will visit their place once in a while or vice versa.

I can imagine a lot of potential mini plots with them.

Though, I can sense that there are more to their background (maybe they are previous spy/assassin?).

Nevertheless, looking forward for more of their screen time.

Bonus:

I really like that Yor is holding Anya's hand throughout the chapter (considering Anya always wander off when they're together 😂)

(I know we see a lot of vulnerable side of Yor (emotionally of course), especially when she was drunk, but i think this moment when she admitted her insecurities is what made her vulnerable the most)

I just started reading this new manga and it is soo good 👌 every chapter has a surprise and you will keep wanting more.

This manga is about Akabane, a high school girl that is unaware of being targeted by many assasins. And the cool part is all of her classmates are her secret body guard 🤫

I love all of them already 💕 waiting for more chapters.

(actually, kinda sad that i can't find any tags that contains this manga here in tumblr. where's the fandom at?)
