The past few years the month of June seems to be filled with life changing events. June 2017 - was the year I lost a piece of my heart, my grandad passed away unexpectedly after a very long week fighting to stay alive. He was always a fighter and miss him every day. June 2018 - first time moving in together with @james_xx to our new flat in Windsor. Love our quirky old flat and the great light for plants 🌿 June 2019 - Got made redundant as a graphic designer at UCA, which was heart breaking and overwhelming to deal with but everything happens for a reason and every test in life only makes you stronger. Every holiday I love exploring the Jewish areas in the towns and cities. This was the most extravagant synagogue I have ever visited and loved the interior architecture with the pattern work. From working in full colour to only black lines. It’s interesting to play with the same floral elements in different mediums to see how the artwork changes. Anxiety and depression is something most creatives struggle with at some point in their lives. To know when to ask for help is the hardest to accept and it’s only when you take that step can you move forward. I got to the point where I am just mentally tired from it all and constantly taking my frustrations out on the people closest to me. Taking a break and spending time with my love just reminds me that it’s not all bad and to remember the happy moments when times are tough.
