Viridian couldn’t help but smile a little despite the situation. His little boyfriend was always so nervous it was honestly adorable how caring he was, but then again, that’s just the kind of feline he was and… That’s one of the many reasons why he loves him.

“It’s… It’s okay, Raaven, besides what if it somehow infects you? If there’s even a slight chance of that, I won’t let you try healing me.“ And there it was, the protectiveness that always flairs up around the small cat. “I’m… Sure it’ll be fine, believe me.“

[💎] Raeven let out a whine upon hearing the canine’s words. He knew that the Metaldog was going to say that. Vividian was always looking out for him. Always protecting him from the dangers of the world. He was like his guard dog, always at his side, ready to fight anyone that so much as looked at him wrong.

Yet, he was also the kindness being he had lucked out in meeting. He was so caring, so gentle, so brave, and strong. He was always there when he needed him. The rock to keep him grounded.

It was because of that will to protect him that had caused Vividian to get bit in the first place. The larger mammal had pushed him out of the way, taking the hit that was meant for him.

The canine didn’t need to do that. He could have summoned his shield to block the attack, had it been fast enough to do so. But he hadn’t and because of that, the Metaldog had gotten hurt. He was bit. He didn’t want to lose his boyfriend. It was one of the things he feared most in the whole wide world. And that nightmare might be coming true. And it was all his fault.

Why did he mess everything up for others?

"...Ugh... Where am I...?"

"What- where am I?!"

"WHERE IS THIS PLACE?!"

"What happened? How did I-?"

"Who are you? Do you live in this place?"

"Please help me... I'm not from this world!"

"Hey, don't I recognize you from somewhere?"

"You guys do things really differently here..."
