A beast, stunning one hour collection of the previously unpublished compositions and live recordings 2014-2016 made with tape loops, musique concrete, instrumental, field and studio recordings by French avantgarde composer Marc Baron. First four pieces are still unreleased and one is a live recording made in Paris (where Marc’s actually based). Worried and emotional, expressive and complete. It’s the first record since Marc Baron debuted with first vinyl album Carnets on Jason Lescalleet’s Glistening Examples, year after the killer release Hidden Tapes on french label Potlatch, who will release Baron’s next record coming out this summer and you can hear to excerpt on this selection. The mix, as previous records is about various forms of contemporary and adventurous field recordings, electroacoustics, musique concrète and contemporary noise.

This recording will inspire if you’re into Antoine Chessex, Second Sleep back catalog, Jason Lescallett or Recollection GRM.
