my ranking on how well shoot from the hip would do on taskmaster (because despite being from Singapore I somehow find myself enjoying British comedians more than anything)
Tom Mayo — He’s got the smarts and the ability to make do with what’s left for him—and his English degrees might help him with those tasks that require a bit more focus on the language. I also just think he’d be actually quite thorough with how he surveys areas that he finds things that no one else sees especially in those puzzle based tasks.
Alexander Jeremy — I feel like in a setting where someone needs to do a lot of the crazy, wacky stuff, he’s definitely someone who can just put himself out there and do it. His definition of impressive is whatever we deem as absolutely insane. Cartwheel here. Yodelling there. He’d be impressive at physical tasks too, I’m sure those muscles aren’t for show. He’d definitely miss important details though, and he’d definitely suck at those that require a bit of memory work…(sorry.)
Sam Russel — Now I wanted to put him up at 2, but I realised he might be great at the puzzles, and the language of the tasks, and good at the physical ones too, but I think for someone who (and I quote Luke) “can feel more rage easily” I think he’d just start getting increasingly frustrated until his strategy is just to fuck shit up until he arrives at something I suppose. Idk I just feel like he’d sort of be so angry when the tasks get increasingly inconceivable
Luke Manning — Look I don’t think he’d be BAD per se, but something in me is telling me that he’d be so average. Like he’s not here nor there, he’s just plain and simple in his approach and would definitely think in the way a lot of us do, which is kind of black and white. He’s not so unique in his approach and simply does what it says in his tasks. He can do the wacky and wild stuff no problem, I just think that with puzzle tasks or physical tasks and ones where you have to do a little digging around your surroundings I just feel like he’d be the simple, straightforward guy instead of coming up with something particularly clever?which isn’t a bad thing, I just think that he’d be more average than particularly good or bad at something. Sorry Luke.

and now i really like the concept but i'm not super happy with the drawings. But I like her down turned eyes, her rectangle glasses, the shape I made her bob? like the way the ends of the hair curve towards her face? very cute.
anyway I couldn't decide on a top, the first one is more based on what Luke was wearing, the second one was just self indulgent because the tied slightly cropped shirts are cute imo
