Summary:

Upon completing her three month long mission across the oceans, beyond the mainland, Surge comes home with an surprise gift for Kitsunami.

Hahahahahahahaha hahahahahah—

Honestly, miss me with the cute and fluffy stuff. I straight up dislike all the AUs where Tails "fixes" Kitsunami. I genuinely dislike the idea that Kit needs to be "fixed".

The ship itself is relatively fine. The fans of the ship have ruined it for me. I wanted to see them killing and maiming one another, not Sonadow but with Foxes. (I have the SAME gripes with the wider Sonadow fandom btw.)

I might make occasional things for it here and there, but as a whole I'm sorta Lukewarm on the ship at this point. The fans have ruined it and it sucks to know a ship with so much potential for my amusement was dumbed down into "How do we fix Kitsunami AND keep him away from Surge permanently?" The ship.

As long as Starline programmed all of them to be hyper fixated on being her support and not seeing anyone else worthy of their time or attention, this is a resounding yes.

This little head bobble he did one time! Although his powers are super neat too and his whole design is fun and simple! It's hard to really just pick one thing, he was a super fun villain!! I hope he's liberated from the Phantom Ruby one day.

Surge and him would NOT get along, but they would recognize the other as being feral and finding it fun for a fight to the death!

He's a failed experiment!

Since he has no Maria... He's also very aimless since he's kinda have no role. He was Eggman's first and last attempt of making a Mobian and Gem Hybrid.

As for the story, he is one of the few people in the world who can deal with the demon. Although he's incredibly unstable and has been posted as the ARK's final line of defense. While he doesn't leave the ARK often, he tends to accompany Tails when he does.

Surge x Infinite

Thoughts?

First thing that came to my mind was the phrase "Gruesome Twosome". I'm pretty sure I read it somewhere before but Surge and Infinite would definitely be them.

This is just like... Wanting to see how fast you can speed run the heat death of the universe. They'd be toxic but I'm sure I could make it work!

How would Surge react if Kitsunami started dating someone? (Anyone of your choice)

Oooo!! This one is a tough one if only cuz Kit only has eyes for Surge.

So for the sake of amusement on my end, I'm going to say Surge mistakes Kitsunami being nice and comfortable around a person for him dating anyone else.

Kitsunami has been... Getting closer and more relaxed around a weird guy by the name of Eclipse. He's an alien who claims to be Shadow's brother and doesn't take kindly to Surge. And this? This is the issue. Surge is fine with Kit being iffy about her dates. Hell, she can forgive his possessive nature and his occasional killing sprees due to it. But... Kitsunami giving his attention to someone completely different than her?

It feels... Wrong. It's not inherently bad and she's not jealous at first. At first she's delighted to see Drippy have someone outside of her to spend time with. Hell she even calls them cute and asks for Eclipse to stop by for dinner. It only makes sense that Surge allows Kit to have his own disaginated boyfriend. Especially seeing as he allowed her to keep some people around he didn't deem as a threat to his station.

But that's definitely short-lived. After a few months of teasing Kit and supporting his new found "romantic relationship". She... Starts getting touchy. By this point Eclipse has made it abundantly clear that he dislikes Surge's existence. And she... Really doesn't like that.

The more time Kit spends with Eclipse, the more it annoys her. After all that's her Drippy. Not to mention... It's just... Boring to be by herself for long periods of time. Leading to her being alone with her thoughts and swiftly causing a spiral to start.

Eventually it hits a boiling point where Kit confronts her about how she is doing since she's been really snappy and mad at him. And when she snaps that she doesn't want him to see Eclipse anymore, he just paused and agrees. Earning a lot of confusion from Surge. Because Kit was supposed to defend his relationship with Eclipse. He was suppose to fight her on it like she does with him.

And when she rightfully questions him on it, Kit shrugs and admits that Eclipse was nothing more than a friend. If Surge wants him to stop being friends with Eclipse, Surge will always come first. Which makes Surge feel bad cuz she's forcing her Drippy to not be friends with someone, so Kit decides to make it up to her. Taking her to her favorite spot and then treating her to a nice long session of burning down an Eggman base (therapy is expensive. Destroying Eggtech is free!!).

But

What are some other ships you have with kit and surge???

For Kit: Basically none? Kitnine mayhaps, but not really anyone else. I just have a hard time seeing him in love or involved with anyone else by default.

Naturally the exception is if it's someone Surge is seeing. Mostly because if they're gonna be around, he's gonna need to at baseline tolerate them or have some sorta or weird Queer Platonic situationship going on.

As for Surge:

I have a LOT.

For Kit:

Despite how Surge is, Kit's ideal date would be a small sit down restaurant. Maybe a diner off the side of the road that's all retro and doesn't serve anything fancier than heart-attack inducing burgers and the fluffiest pancakes known to man.

Just some small joint that doesn't cost much. Mostly to get a burger or chili fries for Surge and a milkshake for him. (He mostly would pick the place cuz they sell Teaberry ice cream/ Milkshakes.)

It's all very low-key, but nice since it allows them the space to be themselves. It's really just about the calm and quiet moments for him in full honesty.

For Surge:

Green Hill Zone, Emerald Hill Zone, or Splash Hill Zone. Anywhere were there's a massive and vast open space for her to run around in and really get a moment to enjoy running. And then a small quiet picnic at the top of the highest point and maybe them sleeping under the stars later that night.

Surge is ... Surprisingly simple when it comes to dates. Just quality time with Kit is good enough for her. If you asked her, them eating lunch in their apartment is a date in her eyes. Since it's alone time with Drippy.

With that being said, she's not against a grand gesture of love, just NOT a massive cringey one like filling the room with Valentine's day stuff. Maybe a nice expensive dinner once a year at most is fine, but she hates putting on dresses and hasn't learned that Suits are an option. (Give her some time, she's not socially aware.)

So in short: They both like small and quiet set ups, but own different ideals. Kit likes somewhere to eat and chat while Surge rathers a nice long sprint and picnic setup.
